I swear my heart skipped a beat when I first came across this treasure on Beautylish. Did I NEED it? No, but did I WANT it? Of course! So it was in was in my cart and through the checkout before you could say “Bunny Brush” It looked beautiful on screen, but I believe it’s even more gorgeous IRL, the hardwood handle is lacquered to an elegant shine and the makie moon rabbit design is beautifully rendered in gold and silver. The grey squirrel and goat bristles are perfectly shaped and super soft. Overall it’s a lovely size and weight which feels comfortable to use. I can also see it being the perfect size for traveling (see, I DID need it after all!) I’m really glad I bought it.
Thanks to the Beautylish team for the great service and the fast shipping as always.
This brush is gorgeous. The quality of the workmanship is just amazing. The handle is a work of art. And I love that the handle is a bit shorter than other brushes I have. For me it makes it easier tomjandle. The goat and squirrel hairs make this brush incredibly soft. I use it to apply finishing powder. The hairs are a bit longer which adds to the ease of powder application without over doing it. I have another set of 5 CHIKUHODO brushes and I love them all. This one is especially beautiful. Expensive but worth the money.
I was hesitant at first because this brush has a mixture of goat hair along with squirrel. It is super soft and I absolutely adore how it deposits powder products. The quality and detail on these brushes are stunning. Im debating whether to buy a third one because I absolutely love it so much.
Love it, very pretty. Wish the hair was pure grey squirrel, it would have made the brush much softer in quality. A black ferrule would have looked nice too. Otherwise this is still a good brush for someone who likes to collect brushes with artistic value. As for use, this is a brush good for finishing and setting powders.
Let me start by saying this brush is beautiful, extremely soft and it is mesmerizing. I was just put off by the fact that it arrived in a plastic foil, not even a brush guard. Maybe it's just me, but at this price I get stressed that it might get ruffed. Truth be told, it is my very first CHIKUHODO brush :)
