I was hesitant about purchasing this brush because it's pink and cheaper in price than the other Chikahodo brushes I own. I'm glad I bought it because I've been blown away by how incredibly soft it is and how little powder I now need. It's like putting the shishedo cotton pads on my face but even softer if that's even imaginable. Absolutely love this brush24 found this helpful.Brooke L. Dec 31, 2016
After buying the PS-2 cheek brush, I was kicking myself for not buying the Passion Series set. The brushes are truly out of this world. I love how the handles are slightly shorter than American brushes, it allows myself to get better leverage and I find I am less likely to over apply powder. I use this brush as my last step, usually to apply Guerlain pressed Meteorites or Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush power and it works well with both. It blends like a dream and really takes my make up game a notch. It also cleans well, and while I use brush guards to help reshape after washing (and traveling) I don't think it is necessary since it has yet to splay, shed or loose shape. It honestly looks and feels as it did right out of the beautifully packed Beutylish box.17 found this helpful.Felicia B. Jul 02, 2015
This is a very soft, full brush that picks up firmly pressed powders very well. I use it for powder foundation and the illuminating bronzer from Chanel. This brush is much softer and of higher quality than comparable department store brushes.12 found this helpful.Cheska L. Feb 25, 2016
This is an amazing brush! First of all Beautylish's costumer service is the best. Shout out to Bess for helping me choose a powder brush. On to the brush itself, it applies powder like a dream. It's not the softest brush I own but you would expect that from goat hair. Shipping to the Philippines only took 4 days which is even more amazing! I plan to place an order for the z series. Ever since I discovered artisan brushes I've sold my old brushes. My face has become too spoilt!11 found this helpful.Ann T. Jun 23, 2018
It's coarser than expected
I would say this is a good entry level Chikuhodo brush. Def better than a Mac brush -- but not on par with the Z series or the Takumi (as is obvious from the price...)
It is soft; but it is also a bit coarser than their top models.2 found this helpful.
