I didn't expect this to be so soft, luxurious looking and so BIG!!! Here is a picture to compare the size of the brush. One of mac 's most popular face brush the 168 brush. The purpose of the picture is to show you how big the takumi brush is. The takumi brush is dense and incredibly soft. I thought Wayne Goss goat hair brushes were soft this brush is slightly softer. I use it for bronzer but you can use it however you want. It's an amazing brush for sure. The takumi series is definitely worth every penny. Looking forward to adding more to my brush collection.
Since I got these brushes I am not using any other brush, and I can tell you that I have a lot, a lot of good brushes. These are amazing, and very soft, I still have 2 or 3 more to buy from this brand to complete the set, but so far I am amazed by the softness. Nothing else compares to this brush. This one can also be used a powder brush, it is huge. Feel free to check my video on youtube talking a bit more on these brushes.. https://youtu.be/sA54PtSV7r8
Really soft, love it! It's not made of squirell hair, but still really soft and can be perfectly used as a bronzing brush. Definitely will try more products of this brand.
My first set of expensive brushes. They are truely worth buying. My only. Hope is that they last me a while I've read they can last years if well taken care of. With brushes these good you need to care for them. This site has very helpful info on this series of brushes. http://www.visageusa.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=24
Wanted to use this as a powder brush to set my foundation and this does the job nicely! I was used to using bigger face brushes for that purpose and was slightly disappointed when this brush arrived since it was smaller than expected. But the hair is so soft and it picks up just enough powder for a quick dusting all over the face. Love that the brush is angled so I can dab it onto the face or buff the powder in. Overall it's love!!!
I think this is just an all around great brush and I only use it for bronzers. It's a little smaller than the Sonia G. Face Pro, so the bronze/sculpt/define area can be a bit more precise. It can definitely give you an even yet diffused application very quickly. The only con I can think of is that the white brush hair shows signs of use after one application and the handle of the Takumi Series is a bit on the shorter end but they're more of a personal preferences. I am not too fuzzy with that so can't take any stars away from this great tool.
