The makeup on the models at the Proenza Schouler F/W ’11 show was nude and contoured….”girls on a road trip through the southwest,” says MAC Makeup Artist Diane Kendal, “the look being reflective of the American Indian inspired fabrics in the collection.”
FACE NYFW Fall 2011: MAC at Proenza Schouler
Kendal hydrated and gave luminosity to the skin with MAC Mineralize All Over Lotion. MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation perfected skin and MAC Pro Sculpting Cream in ‘Cheek’ (available Autumn/Winter 2011) was blended over cheeks for a flush. Kendal blended MAC Pro Sculpting Cream in ‘Chestnut’ under cheekbones and over temples for a subtle contour. MAC Cream Color Base in ‘Seaside’ was blended on tops of cheekbones and over brow bone for a soft highlight.
EYES NYFW Fall 2011: MAC at Proenza Schouler
Kendal blended MAC Lip Pencil in Stone through the upper and lower lashes and then smudged over the eyelids a bit to enhance the natural shape. To create a fuller, more masculine brow, Kendal applied MAC Eye Shadow (in ‘Omega’, ‘Coquette’, or ‘Concrete’) applied to coordinating brow shade with the MAC 266 Brush).
LIPS NYFW Fall 2011: MAC at Proenza Schouler
Kendal hydrated lips with MAC Lip Conditioner SPF 15 and used MAC Studio Finish Concealer to tone down natural lip color.
