I use this as a base for my favorite go-to smokey eye...

Thanks to Tiffany D's Smoke & Diamonds tutorial, I purchased this in Skinny Jeans, and it IS a perfect dupe for S&D. I love the texture, it's very easy to work with, and easy to apply. I use my Ecotools concealer brush and pat it onto my lid for dense color application. If I use my finger, it warms up and melts to a creamy texture for sheerer application.

Thank you Beautylish for the opportunity to win this!

I use my MAC palettes to store my shadows, but this has inspired me to depot my other products. I tried a few of my blushes, and shadows, but I found that I very much prefer to store my travel brushes inside them for travel since it's compact, the brush hairs don't get ruined, and it's the right size for my MAC holiday brush set [eye brushes only]. It does not fit the Sigma travel brushes though, they are far too fat, and I'm afraid the ferrule will crack the mirror if I push it down. A great staple to have in my travel arsenal, and once I get a few more of these to keep organized, I'll be set!

Pros: fits most brand refills, comes w/ magnets to palletize anything you want, and very clean and sleek.

Cons: does not fit all travel brushes... but that just enables me to be on the hunt for ones that work well and will fit! [I have a brush hoarding issue... haha.]

I love it though. It's always a great feeling to know you own something in which a lot of thought was put into it, and for the UNII palette, I can feel every bit of the process that was put into its design just by holding it. There's a good weight to it, a mirror, and even a magnetic thumb grip to make it ergonomically comfortable for the end user. A tad pricer than most other palettes, but this thing will last me ages.

Better than my CS Italian Badger Brush, MAC: 187... 109... 131... Sephora #55, Sonia Kashuk flat top contour brush, etc.

I bought this as a part of their 3-piece kit... and I don't regret it one bit, regardless of the negative opinion I previously had of Sigma. Fantastic brush, a definite must-have, and that's coming from an avid brush collector with a picky-penchant for great tools. Not absolutely perfect though - you may have some hairs you might need to trim or some bleeding from washings, but many brushes do that. For the price you pay, it is definitely something that gives you the best high-end application possible.

NARS + MAC blushes break me out, but this doesn't, even w/ its fragrance!

I don't know why this works, but it works... and because of that, I sure am damn happy!

Many high-end blushes break me out. The only I've found that won't are my MUFE HD cream blushes and my Bare Minerals blushes, but I dislike both because they're both messy. I just want a pressed powder that I can brush on and get on with my life without having to clean off my hands or vanity surface.

I bought this on a whim thinking it'd be another blush that was overhyped and I could just give it to one of my cousins or nieces after I found out it didn't work for me... but I was wrong. I love the finish - it's not so much shimmery as it is luminous. It blends like a dream and I love the scent of roses... It gives me a glowy flush and definitely brings light to my face without making me look juvenille w/ shimmer or sparkle.

The only thing I hate is the bulky packaging and the useless brush. Aside from that, this is the first pressed powder blush that has successfully worked on my skin, so I love it to pieces.

This stuff is fantastic!

Tightens, cleans, refreshes - what more can you ask for under $5? Mint-mask nights are my favorites, and a treat to come home to. Boyfriend approved. Great staple for couples willing to try it together. =D

MUST-HAVE FOR EVERYONE!

This bad boy sits prominently on my vanity, proudly holding it's place next to my higher-end brushes such as my MAC and Hakuhodo brushes.

I use this for loose powder as well. This thing is teddy-bear soft, and sturdily made. It holds its shape, and does a fantastic job of applying sheer powders and buffing. Ergonomically, it's the perfect shape and size, but that's just my personal view on it. It took me AGES to find one, since they're always sold out, but I finally did after a year of searching, and I loved it so much, I bought a back-up of it online. I can see this being used for liquid foundation use too, since it's shaped like my Sephora #55 airbrush, but more dense.

If you had to own 3 things from Ecotools, this would be it, in this order:

Bronzing brush Angled brush Blush brush

Better than many high-end kabukis, but aluminum housing is a little flimsy...

Aside from that, this is a great tool to have and carry around with you - unless you like to participate in extreme activities with your kabuki in your pocket... haha.

The fibers are a little floppy, but they do the job. A very dense head of bristles, and very soft. They take a while to dry, but for something so wonderful at such a value, that is a small set back.

Fantastic brushes at a great price, but not all are useful...

The blush brush, angled brush and eyeshadow brush are probably the most useful along with the brow brush. The eyeshadow brush is only good for cream/gel products because you can use it without the fear of damaging your bristles since they are synthetic. The brow brush is useful, but the comb is only good for brow grooming - and not brushing through your lashes if you get them clumpy w/ mascara. [you'll need a metal lash comb for that]

The rockstars of this set are the blush brush and the angled eyeliner brush. The blush brush is perfect for those afraid of overdoing any type of pigmented blush application. Synthetic fibers pick up less pigment, so you can be as heavy handed as you want, and it will be hard to mess up on the first try. The angled liner brush is a little thick for eyelining purposes, in my opinion, but FANTASTIC for brow work w/ powders or gels. I own both the MAC 266 and 263, and I've got to tell you, for my brows, this is my primary go-to brush. I use the 263 for lining my eyes because I like a thinner line, and my 266 has been exiled to the unloved brush holder on my vanity. Even though there are some useless duds in this set, you can still find other uses for them, and it's so cheap, it doesn't matter. The benefits far outweigh the issue that you'll get some brushes that won't get much love.

Loved the original so much, I had to hunt this down!

I know the 24k plating is gimmicky to those thinking it's just over-hyped "luxe" - but it is beneficial to those with extreme sensitivity to certain metals like nickel. I'm sensitive to nickel, but my original one doesn't make enough contact with my skin long enough to buy the 24k one for that reason. I just wanted something to match with my brush set. I love it, and although they urge you to toss your curler/pad [i've heard both] after 3 months of use, my own personal Shu has been with me for almost 6 years now, and I'm still on the original pad, not yet on the replacement pad. Just be gentle with these, and they'll last you a lifetime.

Perfection.

My lashes are curled instantly - and I don't have to sit there and pump the curler or hold/wait. One press, that's all I need. So awesome, I went out and bought the 24k one as a backup to treat myself. I just wished they sold replacement pads - but they don't. I've seen some on ebay, but I'll have to buy a pack to see if they're true to fit and work as well as the originals do.

Hunt one down if you can. This will always be in my kit.
