I have to agree w/ Ashely and Suzi... this product did nothing for me...

I loved the packaging - but the balm itself reminded me of something I could find at a drugstore in the tween's makeup section. I have brightly pigmented lips naturally, and some days when I am dehydrated, you can definitely tell just by looking at my lips. I'm very picky about what I use, and this did not live up to the hype.

They turned my lips a bright hue that made it seem as though my lips were on fire, and not in a good way. It felt greasy and drying, in no way moisturizing. I immediately went back to my Badger lip balm from Ulta in Pomegranate Poet. 2 stars for packaging only.

Bought into this set because www.inmykit.com told me so!

I absolutely ADORE these brushes! Being my first Sigma purchase, I was quite skeptical, because of all the YouTube hype. I've purchased products from other brands touted by gurus before, and all I got was disappointment... such was not the case with this set.

I already expected stray hairs and some uncut hairs that weren't even. I had probably 2-5 total on each brush, but I quickly remedied that by trimming them. That was what I gathered from many reviews I found via MakeUpAlley... but I had to see why these made the "Must-Have" list for brushes on www.inmykit.com since they've NEVER pointed me in the wrong direction, and they refuse sponsorships from major companies. [I'm not affiliated, but definitely check it out! Such a great resource from high-end to low-end items used in professional MUA's kits!]

Anyways, I love the flat top kabuki. I find the other brushes too stiff for foundation application because it tugs at my skin when I'm buffing it in. [Guess I have a heavy hand for application.] I love the angled contour brush for blush application, and I can't overdo it, no matter how hard I try with the synthetic bristles. The round kabuki is my least used because I have yet found a purpose for it, but I know it will be handy.

DEFINITELY add this to your collection, and get the set, don't buy individually. You will find these great workhorses for whatever makeup tasks you need, whether you are a professional or a lover of makeup at heart. I love the large, thick handles since I feel like I have more control, but that's subjective depending on what your personal tastes are.

I've previously used the Coastal Scents Italian Badger flat top brush [hated it] MAC 109, 187, 130 and Sephora #55 airbrush... and these have replaced them ALL. =)

I definitely had a thing against Sigma for duping MAC, [and not very well w/ certain sets from what I've read], but since these were specifically made by Sigma as their signature item - I had to see what they were willing to bring to the table for makeup enthusiasts. They definitely did not disappoint, and I am definitely more open minded to try their products in days to come.

www.inmykit.com + Sigma suggestion = WIN. =D

Why don't you have yours yet???

These are a hit with me... I've amazed classmates and teachers by just throwing my hair up in a bun - and the screwing mechanism is what always gets them. Holds well for daily wear, but not enough to hold while running on a treadmill at the gym.... [now I'm just asking for TOO much!]

Sometimes, they interlock when you screw them in, but that doesn't damage them. These things are super sturdy, and especially convenient. I am terrible w/ bobby pins, so these are a god send to me.

Yes it dries out quick, but here's a tip for the new Crackle/Shatter users:

OPI and China Glaze have their own variation of crackle and shatter polishes - and I hate the feeling of the ridges it leaves on your nails between the cracks. Use any dried out SV bottle you have that's super gloopy over those, and you'll have a smoother finish to your nails.

I used to think I was terrible at doing my nails until I found Seche Vite... then I just realized I'm impatient and clumsy... so fast drying needs to live up to it's name when I use a top coat, and Seche Vite does exactly that.

Great eyeshadow base for pigmented colors!

I use the green shimmer gel liner as a base for my MAC humid on evenings I go out and I want a more dramatic look. I'm not ashamed to say, I've passed out drunk and have waken up to IMMACULATE eye makeup the next morning as though I am ready to go for round 2 of partying. Sleeping in makeup = bad... Makeup that lasts = GOOD! Def. staple in my kit, and the brush isn't so bad as a lipstick brush, but I don't use that to apply it to my eyes...

This makes my cleansing routine something to look forward to!

I don't know how I lived without one for so long. I thought it was just a fancy gimmick at first: a toothbrush for your face... but if you think about it, you don't brush your teeth with your fingers to get your teeth its cleanest now, do you? =P

This clever little device handles my dry flakey skin [thanks, winter!] when I normally have oily/combo skin. It's like a game to keep up with the beeps to switch spots on your face, and after it's all done, I get tempted to do a second cycle because I think I may have missed a spot, but the first cycle is all you need for a clean face.

The facewash/body wash I've given to the bf. I had a really bad reaction from trying to find a blush/contouring product that wouldn't break me out, and I've been trying to recover from the tiny little bumps all over my face for almost two months now. Once I added the Clarisonic to my 10% BP facewash, it kicked it into high gear, and now only 50% of the affected area remains broken out. That being said after only a WEEK of usage.

I leave my Clarisonic on my vanity to charge because I don't dare leave it in the bathroom that I share w/ my boyfriend. [boys are dirty... well, mine is at least.] and I know when it's time to cleanse, I pick up my Clarisonic for a date in the bathroom.

Wasn't the biggest fan of the pink [my gadget was gifted to me], but once I found it supported breast cancer awareness w/ my purchase, it won it's way into my hands and heart that much faster.
