A great alternative to those that can't use traditional paddle brushes!

This brush gives great coverage, and does not leave streaks! Made w/ a conscious, they make brush handles from FSC wood, and the bristles are synthetic. My only gripe about this is that it does suck up a pretty good amount of product, but it's a fair trade off for such great application.

One of my first experiences w/ LY as a brand, and they have wonderful customer service. Don't be turned off by having to purchase their brushes directly through their website! The accommodate international shipping if you put in an email request, and they ship things out promptly too. =)

I definitely prefer these over stippling brushes like the MAC 187, but it still doesn't beat my Sigma F80. These are three completely different brush shapes though! MAC 187 = stippling brush, Sigma F80= flat top kabuki, LY34 = tapered/dome round foundation brush [not a flat paddle] Not my all time favorite, butt comes to a close 2nd or 3rd place though! =)

I'm not sure if this is the paddle brush, but the photo looks like it is of the LY34, and the LY34 is the one I am mentioning.

My FAVORITE powder foundation thus far!

During the summer, I want something that will help me deal w/ my oily skin... and this is it! It manages to give me a dewey natural finish after setting w/ a setting spray, and lasts a good 6-8 hours. The only thing I dislike about this is that it does transfer... so boyfriend's t-shirts beware!

If you're not super clumsy about forgetting what's on your face, it's pretty good! I learned my lesson the first time I saw foundation on the bf's black shirt and never made the mistake of rubbing my face against his chese ever again! This foundation is too good to waste on his stinkin' black shirt... =P

Does not make my face feel tight or dry like Bare Minerals did... [I tried ALL of their foundation variations and they all made my face feel tight and itchy!] so it was a miracle I found this stuff after trudging through numerous attempts to find a powder makeup that looked good and made me feel good.

I used to love this, thinking it did a world of good for me... little did I know, I was so WRONG!

You get really obsessive about your face. Somewhere deep inside you, a voice keeps telling you to scrub harder to make your face even cleaner... it says, "It will leave your skin glowing if you do!"

...you get out of the shower and look at your face - yeah, you're glowing... glowing RED from how raw your face was scrubbed. I always thought I had OILY skin, but it was because I was stripping my skin so badly, my skin was overcompensating to heal the damage being done to it.

Since using this, I've switched to light exfoliation 2-3x's a week with my Clarisonic and my CeraVe cleanser. It's not foamy, doesn't strip your skin, there's no beads in it, and I can control how much pressure I use on my face w/ the brush. Ever since, my skin has greatly improved. I'm less oily, my breakouts are gone, and my old scars have healed over.

If you use this stuff, be gentle! Don't be so rough with yourself! It's okay if you have tolerant skin... but don't forget, your skin's needs change with age.

Transfer this to a spray nozzle bottle and dilute just a bit with distilled water, and increase the value of this product!

This stuff to me is not pricey at all! For what it does, it's amazing, and I can't complain. The product dries fast and does what it says. =)

I love the Pixiwoo sisters w/ all my heart... and was very excited to see this in my hands...

but I find it is yet another brush set in which you purchase and only HALF of it is useful. Too bad, since I was really hoping they might make one that was actually going to be all staples in my kit.

The stippling brush - I probably use the most. Even so, it is a backup for my Sigma F80 when it is dirty and I am too lazy to wash it. The bristles are flimsier and not as dense as high-end brushes, but for the price, it's not bad for a beginner. It is much more dense than the ELF stippling brush, but they are both completely different shapes. I find the key to a good foundation brush used for stippling or buffing needs to be dense with bristles firm enough to stand up to slight pressure from your palm pressing atop the brush's head. This gives a bit more than I would like. Still, with a little extra elbow grease and effort, it does give the same effect, just not as quickly. I also like that it applies foundation w/ minimal wasted product, a plus if you use one that costs an arm and a leg...

The small tapered brush is a great synthetic dupe for the MAC 165, which I definitely like. No complaints there, it's a wonderful addition to my collection.

The detailing brush - way too small for me to do anything with it. I find highlighting my tear duct area easier with the tip of my MAC 239. Not bad to have, but maybe I need more time to sit down and find more uses for it.

The small foundation brush - the one I dislike the most. Too small for anything, and once exposed to cream products, the bristles stick together and become a spatula - smearing product on your face upon application. I had to thin down my foundation and concealers with a setting spray just to get it to push the product across my face successfully.

Once again, brushes preference is based on how heavy of a hand you like to use. Half of this brush set works for me, but I am just sad the other half did not. The brush case is a novel concept, but I prefer them in my own brush holder.

I very much do like the two I mentioned above, and with every brush set, there will always be hits and misses. I just expected more from Paris Presents, since they are also the same company that produces Ecotools brushes.

I disliked this product...

Don't get me wrong, there are several stand out Benefit products I love, but Erase Paste was definitely NOT one of them. It's way thicker than paste consistency, and I could not blend it into my skin for the life of me! The only way I got it to work was to spray fix+ into my brush, then swirl it into the pot, but even then, it took quite a while to work it into my skin.

I don't need crazy coverage concealer, but I was looking for something to brighten up my under-eye area... unfortunately, this was not it. I don't have discoloration under my eyes, and bags only appear if I am desperately lacking in sleep, so there was no excuse for this product to not at least be able to brighten my under-eye area. It settled into my skin, and I never thought I had fine lines until I tried this product!

More moisturizing than many high-end brands and really pigmented!

I've used NARS, MUFE, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, MAC, etc...

This stuff blows it out of the water for me. I only wish there were more colors! It's in no way drying, it moisturizes and the texture is dreamy. I'm snatching up as many of these as I can - as soon as possible.

Sultry is my FAVORITE!

Perfect "Pick-Me-Up" in a bottle!

I've used this on both young and mature skin types for a wedding, and it's the must-have for any kit. When you see the difference in everyone's face before and after, you'll see what I'm talking about once you see your tired bride/bride's maid/bridal party turn into supple-skinned, refreshed and awake beauties. It's like a stress eraser from lack of sleep. Love it.

My first pro blow dryer, and I'm definitely convinced there IS a difference!

I used to use an old Vidal Sasoon travel dryer, and it would fry my hair. I would look like a lion after blow drying, and I definitely would need to flat iron my hair afterward to make it soft and silky again.

This does not leave my hair coarse, I love the narrow nozzle attachment and it dries my hair so quickly! I useually have to flat iron my hair, but after I blow dry, I can go into work and I get compliments all day. "What did you do to your hair?" - "Oh, nothing - just blow dried it after I jumped out of the shower..."

The ion option makes my hair do the frizzy lion thing though - so I opt to not use that. If anyone knows how to use that correctly, please pm me w/ any information. Otherwise, I love this dryer, and I'm a convert for life!

I have this in Tipsy and Dollface...

I adore these blushes! They don't break me out [which is rare, since many blush brands break me out] and they do last a good amount of time. Not 12 hours... but they do a decent job of standing up to my 8 hour day. I love that Tarte made it easier to depot by giving us a small pinhole to help us with depotting, but then again, I wouldn't be so inclined to depot it if the packaging weren't so cheap looking.

Tipsy is a VERY intimidating color in the pan - a bright neon orange, but beautiful on tanned skin. I use a synthetic brush such as the Ecotools blush brush or Sephora #55 airbrush and I get a perfect finish each time.

Dollface is a bubblegum pink leaning towards the warmer side w/ no blue undertones. A great daily matte blush for my NC30 skin.

The consistency does seem a little powdery though, so I do agree w/ the person that mentioned it. I do love this blush though - any blush that doesn't break me out is a blush worth using to me. I only wish their color range was more extensive though.
