My Dirty Little Secret

My hair is very oily and I need to wash it almost every day. When I was first experimenting with dry shampoo this is the one I started with.

It does spray white which some people don't really like but I don't really mind it since my hair is black it is easy for me to see and I just massage it in. It smells really good, and it does what it's suppose to.

Downside is that it is around $20.00CDN and I have found another one that I like even better for less money. I have small bottle of this I keep in my purse though if I need a quick fix or to add a bit of volume.

Bottom Line: Out of all the ones I have tried (and I feel like I've tried them all) this is in my top 2, the only reason I don't buy it as often is because of the price.

love love love

I bought POW WOW it smells like green apples and has pop rocks in it and it is an awesome product. I apply this whenever I want to wear a bold lipstick colour by getting a bit onto my pointer finger and scrubbing it on my lips. After a bit I sometimes lick it off because it tastes delicious and I rub my lips in a circular motion with a face cloth. Then I use my eos lip balm and wait for that to dry then comes the color.

Only down side is that I find that POW WOW always goes really quickly and it can sometimes be hard to find. But when they're there I always grab one.

Bottom Line: Using this product makes my lipsticks last longer and go on smoother.

Great for oily hair

My hair is in pretty good condition, never color and never treated. I went into LUSH and told the girls that I was having a hard time finding something for my hair, and they pointed this out to me. They said that it is made for oily hair which I have, and I was in. She told me that people use it different ways, rubbing it in your hands like a bar of soap and then putting your hands through your hair or taking the bar itself and applying a few streaks starting at the front of your head towards the back (kind of smoothing it). I tried out both and found that the 1st way wasn't getting enough product into my hair so I opted for the second one and it's worked wonderfully. It gives my hair a beautiful shine and makes it not feel so heavy, and it is true to work with oily hair.

They also suggested a tin and I agreed since I had heard that they tend to melt in the shower. What they neglected to tell me was how to store it properly. The problem is that normally in the shower after you use the product you put it back in the tin right away - after using it a couple times I started to notice that it was starting to get stuck and I was having a really hard time getting it out. I looked onilne and they said to put it in dry to avoid this problem. That wasn't really realistic for me, and then I noticed that the lid is not as deep so I started storing it upside down.

I bought this one and Jumping Juniper and they both have lasted me over 2 months.

Bottom Line: Figure out your favorite way to apply it & make sure you store it properly! Also try Jumping Juniper for oily hair

I bought this bar as well as Seanick and it has lasted me over 2 months.

My Favourite Liner

It is long lasting, it is amazing and it is on the high end, but since I love my eyeliner I am down with spending a bit more.

I am in Canada and this product isn't that readily available to me, but when I went on a little trip and visited a Sephora they had it as part of the store - I almost jumped out of my skin. I have heard so many great things about this product so I made a bee line for it so I could swatch and gawk. From that moment on it was love.

If you are a beginner I wouldn't suggest trying this out right away. Get comfortable with the way you like your liner, small or thick lines, cat eyed or not but make sure you're steady and know what to do.

I say that only because you have to work kind of fast because it goes on creamy but after around 45 seconds it changes consistency and is harder to move around. On the other hand this is why I love the product. It doesn't budge and it does stay on all day.

Bottom Line: This is my new favourite liner and I am very happy to have found it.

Nice & Cheap

When I first discovered these in my local Forever21 I was intrigued. They were sitting on the counter and I couldn't believe how many colours there were. I picked one up and started at it - the cashier told me that apparently the product was suppose to be comparable to OPI, and I actually LOL'd at her. I noticed her nail polish which was almost a perfect match to a Tiffany Blue and she let me know that she was wearing the brand. I figured for the $3.80CDN I thought I would give it a try.

I tried it right away probably because I am stubborn and I wanted to prove her wrong, but after I did I felt like an ass. I used 2 coats and my nails were the perfect Tiffany Blue. Like all my nail polish choices I only wear them for a week, and the week I wore this particular colour I got the most compliments on my nails ever!

I notice that a lot of the ladies that have reviewed this product do not speak too highly of it, maybe because I'm in Canada but I never had a problem. It could be that I only wear my nail polish for a week, it could be that I do my own intense mani's before I apply any nail polish and refuse to skip out on base & top coat. Nonetheless I think this is a great product and for the price I have bought a lot of them and will continue to do so.

Bottom Line: The cashier was right.

2 Beautifully Coloured Cheeks is what I achieve when I use this

If I was going to an island and could only take 3 makeup products this would be one of them for sure! The pigmentation on these blushes are unreal. I remember the 1st time I used this product I went at it like all my other blushes and did a few swipes with my brush. I lightly touched it to my face one time and the colour transfer right there was enough. I have a tanned complexion so using Amused in this manner was kind of a shocker.Since then I have learned to only swipe once and then blend, and it does it so nicely. I am not one to normally retouch my makeup throughout the day but if I did I would never have to worry about my cheeks when using this product. I also really enjoy the fact that I can pop these out of their original casing and put it in a palette since they are magnetic - brilliant!

I have purchased Exposed, Dollface and Exposed (which is my new favourite all around).

Bottom Line: If you haven't yet - try these bad boys out.

Wonderful Prodcut

My skin is oily so I use it twice a week all over my body including my face. You don't need a lot of it which I also like, and it smells good.

Bottom Line: I really enjoy this product and will repurchase.

Best Long Lasting Lipstick

I bought the Beyonce red Infallible Lip color because I fell in love with the gorgeous shade of red it was. In order for it to work properly you have to apply it properly. I only use 1 swipe of this making sure to get the corners of mouth, and everywhere in between. After waiting for it dry for 2 minutes it feels sticky, but after you apply the balm (which is clear) you will see that none of it comes off and your lips look glossy. The balm also smells like candy which is a plus.

With any deep lipstick I find that it works best if you use a lip scrub first just to get all the dead skin off, I then applied a lip balm and waited for it to dry before I started. After this is done the color payoff was intensified and it stayed on even longer. I only had to reapply the balm 3/4 times throughout the day, I thought it would have to be more because I usually apply Chapstick a lot throughout a day but doing the lip scrub first definitely helps. I use MAC Cleanse Off Oil makeup remover to get off which takes a bit of work but is totally worth it. With Christmas just passing I wore this to all of my events and even after eating, drinking, hugging and kissing family cheeks it still lasted and everyone was so impressed!

Bottom Line: I will be repurchasing and trying new colours for sure.

Best Makeup Remover even for waterproof products

This is my favorite makeup remover ever! I just use 2 pumps and rub it on my dry face, leaving my eyes for last. I do my eyes last only because most of my makeup is on there and with the eyeliner and mascara I don't want to rub that onto my face. It all comes off and not in a slimy way. Then I rinse it off and use a cleanser. This product has a really nice smell to it, it kind of reminds me of gingerbread and I love it. My face is very oily and I was worried that this would make it worse but I have not noticed a difference. I gave this to my friend with sensitive skin and she did not brake out either.

Bottom Line: This is definitely one of my top favs of the year!
