I didn't expect this to be HG!

I tried the original Philosophy Purity Made Simple, which I had as a sample. I wasn't crazy about it, I thought it was okay and I wasn't really digging the scent. But the sample size lasted me a few months and when I finished it, I realized I liked the way it cleaned my skin. So I had one of those "You don't know what you have until it's gone" moment.

I went to Macy's to pick up a full size, but then I saw this cleansing gel version for oily skin. I wasn't sure which one to get because I know I like the original, but should I get the gel one because I do have oily skin? I asked the sales associate what the difference was between the two, and she went on explaining that she prefers the gel and with a Clarisonic it makes your face feel squeaky clean while still being sulfate-free. I took her advice and snatched this one up.

I have to say I pretty much love this stuff. The original cleanser made my skin soft and it felt pretty clean, but the gel version made my skin SUPER clean, I don't know how to explain it, but it does. I use this at night to take off my makeup, and when I touch my face after using it with my Clarisonic I feel like my pores breathing. It also makes applying my moisturizer SOO smooth. As a makeup remover, it does a great job as well. I'm so happy that I've finally got my skin care routine down. I can definitely see a difference in my skin's texture and its overall condition.

Thank you for making this for me, Philosophy!!!

Estee Lauder never fails!!! :D

This has some serious competition with my beloved Estee Lauder Double Wear Makeup foundation! Ever since I got Invisible Fluid I've been using it every single day! I normally prefer a full coverage foundation because I have some flaws on the left side of my face, but I wanted something lighter for the summertime.I picked this up and I am IN LOVE!!! I probably love this even more than Double Wear. Double Wear is very thick.

Consistency/Packaging: Invisible Fluid is very light. The consistency is thin and watery and has been compared to Chanel's Vita Lumiere Aqua (I think that's what it's called), so it is one of those shake-it-up-vigorously bottles. If you put it on the back of your hand, it will start running. The packaging is a plastic bottle with a squeeze-tip opening. It makes it very easy to dispense the product and allows you to control how much you want to use.

Blendability: So easy! It's not really creamy, as I said it's pretty watery so it goes on pretty sheer. For me, I could build it up to medium coverage. It doesn't cover up my hyperpigmentation or acnee scarring, but that's easily fixed with a bit of concealer.

Shade: Okay, so I consider myself medium to medium-deep when it comes to my complexion. In Double Wear I'm a Shell Beige, and that's a #4 in their instensity range. But with Invisible Fluid, I found I could get away with wearing a 2WN2. A TWO?! That's how blendable this is. It's a weeeee bit light when I first apply, but after a few minutes it just makes my face look nice and bright. :) I didn't like the 3WN1 (one shade up) because apparently my neck is lighter than my face because it matched my face well but not my neck.

Application: I use a traditional foundation brush for this foundation. I apply it in the "flower method" that Estee Lauder recommends (you can find videos and tips on their website). I put some product onto the back of my hand then start on my cheeks and nose brushing outwards. I find that using this brush does get streaky, so I incorporate patting motions. After I finish, I take my fingers and smooth my face out starting in the center. I find that extra effort smoothes it out perfectly. I then set it with Lucidity Loose Powder, and that my friends will give you FLAWLESS looking skin.

Finish: This is the reason why I love this. Typically I like a matte finish because I have extremely oily skin. The finish is neither matter or dewy. It's not exactly satin, but glowy, natural, bright, radiant, and makes your face look like it's in soft-focus. It looks like perfect skin if I had that. :)

Let me tell you, I did not expect to love this foundation as much as I do. I'm so happy with it. I have no problems with it breaking me out. If anything, I'll believe that it's helping my skin. Somewhere I heard that this contains some of the Advanced Night Repair Serum, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

In conclusion, this is by far the best foundation I have ever come across. I never thought I'd love anything more than my Double Wear. I still do, but that will be saved for more special occasions. I highly, highly recommend trying this out! It's not gonna work for everyone like it does for me, but Estee Lauder counters do offer a generous sample. :)

Sophisticated!

Unfortunately, I don't wear this enough, but that's only because my boyfriend doesn't like it (he prefers fruity and sweeter fragrances on me). I love that it's clean and floral-y, with a dash of musk in the bottom notes. Besides the smell, the bottle is adorable as it gets, it's my favorite perfume bottle in my collection. I found the that bow is detachable and makes a very cute ring! I will definitely find more occasions to wear this fragrance, starting tomorrow when I go to work!

This is what classy smells like.

I am a big fan of this perfume. The scent is lovely and it smells sophisticated, sensual, elegant, and expensive! I love the mixture of floral and musk, it's a perfect combination to smell feminine and sexy. It is pretty strong when you first spray it on, but the dry down is heavenly! Definitely a special occasion fragrance. It will last all day or night and the scent lingers in and out as you go about your activities. I adore J'adore!

Refreshing and clean!

It's not my favorite, but I like this one a lot. This is the fragrance I reach for on an ordinary day if I'm going grocery shopping, running errands, or going to the pool/beach. I love this for when I want to smell good, but not overwhelming, just casual. The scent is light, crisp, and clean. It's like walking straight out of the shower, and that's what makes it so popular and attractive. It's unique and unlike anything I own in my perfume collection.

Not a fan...

I will honestly say that the only reason I bought this was because of all the hype it was getting when it first came out. I had bought it in a gift set. Don't get me wrong, it smells nice, but it's not my favorite. I think the floral is too strong, but with that being said, the fragrance didn't last long on me either. I really wanted to like it, but I ended up giving it away to my boyfriend's sister, whom I don't think is using it either!!

The best Juicy Couture fragrance!

As far as I know, this is the only fruity/sweet fragrance that Juicy Couture carries. I've smelt them all, and I hate them except for this one. During Christmas time, my local Macy's had the limited edition pure Parfum of this, which is supposed to be more concentrated than the Eau de Parfum that's worth $1,000, but was retailing for $99. I definitely wouldn't have paid a grand for a bottle, but it was worth the hundred, as it also came with a little tote bag and travel sized matching lotion.

I know a lot of people have and wear this, and I honestly can't blame them! It's a wonderful fragrance that has become one of my top three favorites. :)

Fun, fruity, playful, young, DELICIOUS!

I love this fragrance! When you look at my perfume collection, you'll notice that I'm a fan of fruity and/or sweet scents - Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy, Ralph Lauren RALPH, Aqualina Pink Sugar Sensual, Dior J'adore, etc... I can't get enough of this smell, it's one of my most worn perfumes. I find that the best time to purchase perfume is during the Christmas holiday when the full sizes come in gift sets with lotion/shower gel for an affordable price! I love that it's sweet and fruity, with a hint of a woodsy-muskyness. Before I leave for work, I spray this onto my neck and my left wrist, dabbing (NOT rubbing, as rubbing can crush the molecules in the perfume resulting in the fragrance to fade faster) my right wrist gently, and lastly at the back of head/neck area so it's in my hair as well. :)

I love these polishes!

At first I wasn't a fan of their original polishes. I've bought a couple and the color payoff wasn't good at all. When this came out, I decided to try it out since I like the ColorStay makeup line. Needless to say, I'm a happy camper. :) I have Cafe Pink, Passionate Pink, but Indigo Night is my absolute favorite. I've been wearing it on my toes for the past month and it's a bright, fun medium blue, that reminds me of the ocean, and perfect for summertime!

My favorite nail polish brand.

I love Essie, and my collection is evergrowing. I probably have 20+ colors at this point. I simply love the formula and color selections. I always look forward to their seasonal collections and this summer I'm dying to get my hands on Bikini So Teeny! It will definitely be my next purchase from Essie. :) So far the only shade that I had problems with is Figi, a pale, milky pink. Gorgeous in the bottle, but is extremely streaky applied, in which it took four coats to get it completely opaque, and that's two coats too much. Other than that, Essie is my go-to brand when I'm at the store. I used to be hesitant to spend $8-$10 on a bottle of OPI, but with Essie, I snag up two or three bottles at a time!
