Does the job, but not my favorite...

Where I live, a pack of these is about $8, a little expensive for my budget, so I ordered a few packs from Target.com because they were cheaper. I like that it takes off most of my makeup. However, it does sting on my under eye area a little and leaves an oily film/feeling on my skin which I hate. Sometimes I just want to take off my makeup and cleanse later before bed, as to avoid over cleansing, but I can't not wash my face after using these. It feels really gross. That being said, I'll use up what I have, but I think I'll just stick to the $2 CVS wipes (can't remember the brand, but I get it in cucumber). They're majorly cheaper and works well!

Wasn't impressed...

After buying this, I'll never buy high-end mascara again. I didn't see any dramatic changes with this, I felt that it was an average mascara and I could achieve better results with a drugstore brand mascara. This was also very clumpy and hard to work with. I've only used it three times and it dried out on me within a month. Not worth the pricetag. Unless you're rich, I feel that splurging on expensive mascara is a waste of money. I'd rather spend my money on face products and palettes.

I wanted to love this...

Everyone seems to love this, so I picked one up for myself in Syracuse. I have oily skin, but have heard many people say it works for their oily skin, thus why I purchased this formula. It's a nice foundation, but not for me. The color is nice when I apply it, but I find that the dry down makes me look too tan, and I wasn't really into that. At first I couldn't figure out why I didn't find myself reaching for it often, until a friend mentioned that's what it did for her. Unfortunately I returned it, but I'm glad I gave it a chance after all the hype it gets.

Great setting powder!

Having many facial imperfections, I would not use this as a foundation/powder. If I had good, clear skin that would be a different story and I'm sure it would be perfect. However, I do love this as a setting powder for my liquid foundation. It's light, matte, and it never looks cakey or powdery. I love the finish and it's one of my most used setting powders. I wouldn't say it controls oil, but it's not a dealbreaker.

I apply this with a fluffy powder brush or kabuki brush. It melds into my skin beautifully and it looks natural. Price is steep for a light powder, but it's worth it.

I love this as a primer!

This is the first product I bought for priming my eyes. I've been using Painterly for a long time now, and I have never had problems with it. Before I started using this, my eyeshadows would undoubtedly crease on me. Then I got this, and I saw a huge difference, and my shadows would last me all day/all night, even on my oily lids. To this day, I'm a satisfied consumer of this product. :)

The color is matte. I apply it with my fingers and blend it out. I find that it's the best way to blend it. The only thing is, is after having it for 2 and a half years, the product in the jar seems a bit dry, but it's still usable as long as I apply it with my fingers to warm it up. Even after all this time, I have a TON of product left that will last me another couple years or so. But that's probably because I don't use eyeshadow everyday anyway? The price is totally worth it too, especially since it lasts so long. What's $16.50 every three to four years? lol.

Besides MAC Paint Pot, I've recently tried the Urban Decay Primer Potion (the one that came with my Naked Palette), and I honestly feel like it's a bit greasy feeling. I also don't get as much color pay off as I would with Painterly. From now on I'm going to stick to what I know!

Amazing palette! ❤

Like so many other girls, I've been wanting this palette for a while, but I never got a hold of it because of its high demand. Well, I guess after the whole world got their hands on one, I came across the palette on Macys.com! At first I was debating whether to get it or not. I love neutrals, but I had a couple other palettes that I still haven't used up yet, plus $48 was a bit steep for me. A friend of mine convinced me to get it though, so I ordered it. I was rather disappointed that it didn't come with the double sided 24/7 eyeliner pencil, but hey, I got a new eyeshadow brush instead.

Anyway, the colors are lovely! It's a great palette and the combinations are endless. My favorites are moreso the matte shades. They all blend beautifully and color pay-off is definitely there. I love that I can make it subtle or dramatic as needed and how it darkens the more you pack it on. It's great, it's universal, and I think everyone should own this!
