I love it, and I hate it.

I love that it makes my nails look shiny, and I especially love that it dries my nails in two minutes flat, if not even that. I hate that the more you use it, the thicker the consistency gets in the bottle. I hate that its claims to prevent chipping and peeling are not met. My manicure lasts about two to three days. I hate the smell. Even though the cons outweigh the pros, I still love this top coat because I simply love the finish and fast-drying time. I know there are other top coats out there that can probably give me the same results, and I've tried some of them, but for some reason, I'd rather stick with this.

Look bright eyed and awake, even if you don't feel like it!

I was looking for a flesh-colored eye liner pencil for my waterline to look more awake. I owned a cheap white eyeliner, but the contrast was fake looking. I came across this at Sephora and I love it, of course. The color is a yellow toned beige, which suits me just fine. The pencil itself is smoothe, creamy, and pigmented, exactly what you'd expect from a $23 eyeliner. It definitely lives up to its claim of being long-wearing, for the most part. Its glides nicely on the waterline and doesn't tug of irritate my eyes much. I like having eyeliner on my waterline, but I have very sensitive eyes, so I hardly put any liner on my waterline because of that. So I appreciate that I can wear this without feeling like there's poison on my eyeballs. :)

The softest brush I own.

This is my favorite powder brush. Ever. I immediately had to have it when the sales associate at the Estee Lauder counter used it on me. So. Stinkin'. SOFT. I'd rub this on my face all day if we up to me. Price is definitely an investment for a face brush, but in my eyes worth it, obviously! I've owned it for a few weeks now and I still store it in its blue packaging each time I use it. I love it so much that I'm babying it for as long as I can to avoid ruining it!

Skin care necessity.

After begging, my boyfriend had bought me this at Sephora for my 22nd birthday (2010). I've read and watch tons of reviews on this thing being a miracle worker - it shrank pores, it cleared skin of acne, it evened out complexions, it diminished fine lines, it erased hyperpigmentation, discolorations, and scarring, etc. For me, it didn't do any of that.

But here's what it does do for me: It smoothes my skin's texture for soft, velvety skin. It cleanses my pores of dirt, oils, and makeup. It leaves me feeling squeaky clean. I experience less breakouts than before I started using Clarisonic. It leaves my face looking bright and youthful. It is by no means a miracle, but I can honestly tell you that this is the best shape my skin has been in since my pregnancy.

In high school I had pretty good skin. Since being pregnant with my daughter my skin hasn't been on its best behavior. I've been breaking out a lot more, thus gaining some new "friends", a gang actually called acne scarring on the left side of my face. Part of it is my fault for picking on them, I should have just left them alone, maybe they wouldn't have branded me when they left so I wouldn't forget.

Overall, this tool is definitely a staple in my skin care routine. I have tough skin, so I use this with the brush head for normal skin. I love my Clarisonic, and when it has vibrated its last minute of cleansing, I will definitely buy a new one. :)

Who knew a tinted moisturizer could be great for oily skin?!

Before trying out this TM, I had first gotten Laura Mercier's TM, which I did not like. Then I got this, and alas, I'm in love! I have VERRRYYY oily skin, so I was pleasantly surprised when the finish of this was matte. Being what it is, I'm giving it 5 stars. I typically like a full coverage face, but this is great for days when I just want to even out my complexion. I finish it off with powder, and I'm good to go. It does have a slight chemical-y smell and the SPF odor is there, but it doesn't bother me. This is great for the summer, especially for the Hawaii heat!

Hair product staple.

I don't use this every day, but when I do, I find that it does help cut down some drying time, whether my hair is air drying or I blow-dry it. I love, love, loveee the smell. I have pretty damaged hair from frequent hair coloring and heat damage and this makes my hair soft and shiny. I use a one to two pumps and apply it to my shaft to ends, avoiding my scalp and roots, and I put the leftover residue on my hands on flyways and the outermost layer of hair on top of my head for all over, distributed shine.

HG Status!

I really love this foundation, it is my absolute favorite. Here's a little story: In Spring 2011, I bought and exchanged this thing about 5 times. For the life of me, I could not find a good color. -__- Then one day a few months later in July I went to Macy's with a purpose to get some foundation from the Lancome counter, but EL Double Wear caught my attention. I decided to have the sales associate match me. When she applied a full face of foundation set with powder, I looked in the mirror and I LOOOOVED how it looked. In the back of my mind, I was hesitant to buy it because of my previous experience with their shades. She matched me to Shell Beige, and which is one of the shades I had bought and returned just months prior. Though that day it looked fantastic and the shade seemed dead on for the most part. Needless to say, I bought it yet and again and never looked back. I'm not even sure what the issue was the first time around, I assume the lighting?

I love this foundation because it's medium to full coverage, which is what I need with my hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. It covers well, but I still need concealer on my problem areas. It's definitely long wearing, and it doesn't feel heavy on my skin. It doesn't have a pump, but I don't even care, definitely not a drawback for me! It really does make you look absolutely flawless! I normally apply it with a damp wedge sponge, which I find gives the best finish. When I use a brush it looks cakey and chalky, NOT cute. I can honestly say that this is the only foundation I've ever come to really LOVE. Even when I didn't have it, I wished I did and it disappointed me that the shades didn't quite work for me at the time. Now, I consider this my holy grail foundation. Nothing beats Estee Lauder Double Wear!

However, they just came out with their new Invisible Fluid Makeup foundation, and I'm loving that one just as much. :)

Purse essential!!!

These are one of my purse must-haves for sure! I have extremely oily skin and no makeup/skincare product in the world will ever control it, unfortunately. That sucks, so these oil blotting sheets are the next best thing. It's not just my nose or my forehead, I get oily on every area of my face. I have to use at lease four of these a day, that's how bad my face is. I've tried many many different brands of oil blots, and since I use so much of them, Clean & Clear's Oil Absorbing Sheets are the most effective as well as wallet-friendly. I much prefer these blue filmed sheets as opposed to blotting papers. I feel that they don't absorb as well. One downside though, is when I pat it on my face, I do find that some of foundation does come off with it, but I think it's just the nature of my overly oily face, so I don't blame the product at all. They also have a CVS and Target has an up&up version of these and they work just as well for even cheaper, that I buy as well. :) Overall, awesome stuff, I've gone through tons of packs of these and I will never stop buying!

Favorite scrub!

Ok well I've been using this for a couple weeks now and I love it. First of all, yes it smells wonderful, definitely a plus! The fact that it's pink makes it appealing to the eye. The micro beads are just right so that you can feel it cleansing your skin, but not at all abrasive. I have oily skin, so this stuff is great. I really feel like it's getting all the gunk out from my pores. It's also very refreshing and does indeed wake you up from morning drowsiness which I need!! It makes my skin soft and never feels dry. I even use the corresponding cream cleanser that I'm totally in love with as well! It's affordable and well worth the money. As for acne? Definitely helps mine. Before I started using this I had a pretty bad breakout along my jawline, and after one use, this cleared most of it overnight. I was utterly and pleasantly amazed. I'm glad this line has been working for me. I use this scrub every two days. Thank you Neutrogena!

Wish this worked out for me.

I liked the concept of customizable coverage. I'm more of a full coverage girl, as I have discolorations and acne scarring, and this covered extremely well. I chose Toasted Beige, which wasn't exact, but matched well enough. However, oil control was low. After a couple hours my face was greasy and shiny, not cute. It doesn't claim to do control oil, but it's an important factor in a foundation for me and that was the dealbreaker. It's a shame because other than that I really liked it. Unfortunately I returned it.
