Beauty Product Reviews
Great texture, but so crumbly!
I love this mascara. The packaging feels so expensive in your hand, the wand is a good shape. It goes on so smooth and layers beautifully! BUT! But. This shit crumbles like no other, and I'm so sad about that, because otherwise this would be my go-to mascara.
Good everyday product
If you like wearing only gloss, this product is awesome. As mentioned, it comes out clear and from what I understand it's heat activated so the shades of pink will match your lips. It looks great! It's just the right consistency and easy to apply. Container is mess-free. I used this lots when I bought it.
Great product, awful packaging.
This looks soooo great! It gives this rich full appropriately glass-like appearance. The container, however, is tricky. It is very thick, and I find that it oozes from the container when unnecessary. I just bought it yesterday and already have to keep it in a ziplock bag, or I'm afraid it'll get on everything. Messy, but well worth it. I wouldn't recommend this if you are planning on having a makeout session. It's only for looking at. LOVE IT!
Totally worth the $20. I saw this swatch on a blog and fell in love with it. It's a lot like MAC Club but brown with a blue-y pearly shine, while Club is dark gray with a green shine. It is sooo easy to work with, blends extremely well, minimal fallout. I am absolutely in love with it. Looks and stays on great with UDPP - I put it on around 7 PM, went out clubbing, came home, passed out, woke up around 10 AM and my makeup looked AMAZING. No creasing, no nothing. Like I just put it on. I'm definitely gonna pick up some more UD eye shadows.
I love how soft this eyeliner is. I find that black is too harsh for my skin-tone and eye color, but this brown brings out the best in both. I recently also bought this in Smolder and while I love the richness of it, it is RIDICULOUSLY smudgy. The first time I used it, it got all over my fingers somehow! I recommend using it with a eyeliner sealer or over an eye shadow base. I think I'm getting the hang of it. I love these pencils, definitely recommend.
I love love love love love this! I was always searching for good coverage without heaviness of a thick foundation, so I used this as my powder foundation now over Kat Von D's Tattoo Concealer. Once I run out, I just have to have more. The only thing is, it runs out too quickly :(
Super handy that it contains sun protection too - just one less thing to think about. Love this.
Love Love Love
I own Rebel, Hue, Lovelorn, Saint Germain, Viva Glam II, Ruby Woo and Vegas Volt. Lovelorn is definitely my favorite pink. Saint Germain is such a special crazy color, the girl at the MAC store told me to mix it with Rebel to get this amazing bright purple pink.
Be careful with Hue - your lips have to be in perfect condition for this to look good - I usually apply MAC Lipglass in Prrr over it to smooth out the texture.
Ruby Woo is a wonderfully matt red, but I believe that only people with good skin can pull it off. You really need that polished look.
I love mixing Viva Glam II with a bit of red lip liner just on the inner middle edges of my mouth and blending it out a bit.
Overall I LOVE MAC lipsticks. Definitely recommend. They got tons of shades too, so plenty to choose from!
More for length than volume
Maybe I just have super crappy lashes, but this mascara didn't do too much for me. It's very good if you want some length. It doesn't clump and applies nicely, but wasn't quite enough for me. Good product overall.
