Beauty Product Reviews

There are cheaper products that do the same thing

I like to use a leave in conditioner because I do have dry hair. I prefer a cream to a spray so in this case this is better than sprays. However, I didn't notice a change for the better in my hair from using this. It does help with tangles but that's about it. There are drugstore cream leave in conditioners that are a lot less expensive and perform the same or better.

Average.

I kept seeing YT gurus rave over this. I've been using it since June with no noticeable difference in my hair. I have fine, long, dry hair. I used it according to the directions and never noticed a difference. The only reason I'm still using it is because it's not a bad product and I have a lot left. It's too expensive to just throw it out. I will not be repurchasing this. I think the L'oreal EverSleek deep conditioners are much better for a fraction of the price.

What CAN'T you use vaseline for?

Vaseline will always be an oldie but a goodie. As far as I'm concerned everyone should own a jar. I use it on dry skin. It repairs dry feet and cracked lips. It soothes after waxing. It's really a multipurpose product.

Free gift, wouldn't run out to buy

I got this for free on my birthday at Sephora. I LOVED the smell but I would never just go out and buy this product. I wasn't that impressed-it was actually pretty average. I didn't notice that my skin was better by using this product.

"Outlast" is a stretch

CoverGirl and I have a disagreement on the word "outlast." If to them it means an hour then sure their product is right on. However, I'm seriously doubting that. I used this several times and consistently had poor results. It began to wear off within 15 minutes and completely gone within an hour or two. The product also settles around the edges of the lip forming a ring. When I would go to reapply, the stain would be lighter in the middle than where the ring had formed. It will also settle into creases.

Terrible!

This is a very bad cream shadow. I'm seeing other reviewers say they use it as a base. If it has to be used as a base then it's a bad product. Revlon intended for it to be used as a stand alone shadow and that is impossible to do. The colors are lovely but it creases within an hour and will wear off completely within two hours. It is also very difficult to try and build up the color. I would never purchase this again.

Moisturizes well

I bought this as part of the 3-step system for combination skin. I think it moisturizes very well but it leaves my skin looking very shiny. I would say that's the only downfall but I put makeup on over it so no one would ever know. I've used it throughout the year and it has transitioned well into the winter months when my skin is thirsty for moisture.

Will never be as full as false lashes

My best friend absolutely swears by this (she has thick lashes) and it really does work on her. On my thin lashes there is absolutely no way it was going to be like "false lashes." I have used mascaras that pump up the volume far more than this product. I also don't care for the wand. It makes it difficult to do the bottom lashes and the corners of the eye.

Very average, not worth the price

Mascaras can be very hit or miss. What works for one might be awful for another. I got this in a mini 3-step kit I bought and gave it a try. I felt like the results were very average. I didn't notice any significant change in length or volume when used. There are better drugstore alternatives, or ones that perform the same, that cost far less.

So neat!

I thought this product was very innovative. I used the one that looked like fishnets. When I was wearing it I got tons of questions and compliments about it. In fact, the nail techs at the salon were wanting to try it. I will admit it takes some patience to get them on straight but they are fairly easy to use. Just follow the directions step by step and you will be fine! I also appreciated that it was two sided so you could get the right size for your nail bed. Use a topcoat and it will last!
