When I got these I thought they would be a good 2-for-1, the colors were pretty enough to be worn alone and also they would be good for colored bases to give my eyeshadows an extra boost of color. Sadly, neither assumption was true. The shadows end up applying very sheerly, so they don't work well alone. They also crease almost immediately, even when used over another base (such as UDPP) and set with a powder. Overall, just a generally bad product.

Love the look, but a bit sheer

I bought this in Oxidized Aqua just because it was such a cool unique color. I do love the color, and these do crackle nicely, but the problem I have with it is that the color is so sheer, it's very easy to see the base polish beneath the crackle. I think these would work best over a plain black creme polish, and not the foils that I want to put them over.

Surprisingly Impressed!

I have never been a big fan of any gel liners. I had tried Wet N Wild, Smashbox, and Stila ones and every time the formula was either to creamy (in the case of the Stila) or to dry (in the case of the Wet N Wild). In the end I preferred liquids or pencils just because, for me, they were easier to use.

I bought this product based on reviews here on Beautylish, and I have to say, I am quite amazed! The product has just the right amount of creaminess to glide easily, but I still don't have problems with smudging. I can easily use it to draw on winged liner or tightline. The brush, which I thought I would hate, I actually love. Overall I'm pretty happy to pay $10 for a liner and a brush that I feel like I will get a lot of use out of!

Defnitely not worth the hype

I bought this mascara due to the great reviews here. I am a mascara lover, it really takes a lot for me to be dissatisfied with one. I came home and tried it out and was actually disgusted, a feeling I've never had with a mascara. It was the wettest formula I've ever encountered and immediately clumped all of my lashes together, especially on the bottom. I see a lot of people comment in their reviews, "Oh you have to let it dry out for a couple of weeks for it to work right." I'm sorry, but I don't think that it was Maybelline's intention to create a mascara you have to let sit around for two weeks before you can use it, they just happened to create a terrible mascara that gets a little better as it dries out. I did let mine dry out a little bit though, and still the mascara will not hold a curl. It seems to be so clunky that it just weighs my lashes down and coats them with black. I did bump this to two stars because I was promised a matte, black mascara and that much was at least true.

One of the things I love most about this palette is that the looks seem to build themselves. You've got the perfect makings for a green, blue, or purple smokey eye (or whatever type of look you want to do!) I also love that there are a lot of colors that have been featured in other palettes, as UD seems to repeat a lot. Radium, Haight, and Bordello are some of my favorite shadows in the box.

This lipgloss, for me, is less about the gimmicky "color change" and more about how nice it makes my lips feel. I love using this gloss anytime my lips are dry because it is very cushiony and soft feeling and has the perfect amount of sheen. I definitely love the feel of it!

I really like Ulta shadows! I have them in tons of colors and they definitely offer a lot of different colors! I find that as far as pigmentation and lasting power, they stand up to my more expensive shadows much better than Coastal Scents or NYX shadows do and even though this are priced a little more, you can get them on great specials a lot of time. Favorite colors include Mint, Pearl, Aztec Gold, Deep Sea, and Luna.

I usually am a huge fan of UDPP, but this primer did not do it for me. I have oily lids and the extra creaminess of this product made my shadow crease, even when i used the tiniest amount. Also I never could get the yellow color to look quite right on my cool skintone.

This is definitely one of the best beauty purchases I've ever made. These 15 eye pencils will last me, quite literally, years. Especially the colored ones, which I won't use every day. Perversion blows Zero right out the window, it is so extremely black in one swipe. I also love Asphyxia and Midnight Cowboy which are both very unique colors exclusive to the set (Midnight Cowboy is a perfect nude colored liner for the waterline). Other favorite limited edition colors like Corrupt and Binge are also in here, making it a great buy for anyone looking for a high quality liner in awesome colors!

This is one of my favorite mascaras. It separates my lashes and adds a lot of volume while still feeling natural (not stiff or like it's making my lashes brittle) and holding a curl well. I also, surprisingly, love the brush! I am usually a fan of smaller, rubber brushes but this brush actually has dual layers, one of shorter bristles and one of longer bristles, so that it defines well and adds volume.
