Pretty color, but hard to work with

When I got this product I was actually kind of looking forward to it because the color was so different from any other highlight I own. Sadly, the product was just unusable. I tried with my fingers, with a brush, and with a sponge and I never could get this product to blend properly. Not something I would recommend

Bright Purple

I only have this polish in Bright Purple, but it is the most awesome, smooth purple creme I own! Application is very simple, and the brush is good and sturdy. I also really love the bottle shape.

Obsessed!

I am...obsessed...with these polishes! I was so happy that the crackle trend came back because I had been on the hunt for the old Cover Girl Crackles just months before, and not only did they come back, the new crackles are so much better! The China Glaze Crackle Glazes have a bit of a different application process the the OPI Shatters. Where you apply very thin layers of Shatter, you get the best results with the Crackle Glaze if you apply thicker coats. My favorite of this set is Cracked Concrete because gray makes any color look even more classy.

For me, even though this primer is a favorite, there are many other primers out there that I much prefer over it. The texture of this primer just doesn't feel smooth to me, and even though it does seem to smooth my skin out before my foundation, there are just many other primers I prefer with a bit more...lotiony (?) of a texture. I was also disappointed that the Color Adjust primer seemed to do nothing for my high coloring. I prefer Pur Minerals Color Correcting Primer in Green very much to this.

I have this polish in a variety of colors and I think they're pretty good for the price. There doesn't seem to be a lot of variance in finshes, but if you like shimmers and a few glitters, you will definitely be able to find something you like in these polishes. One of the most unique colors is Classic Coral Creme, which is by no means a creme. It's a halfway between pink an orange glass fleck that is just beautiful.

I've bought these a couple of time just because they seem to be the standard drugstore wipe that everyone buys. To me, this felt too oily and seemed to leave a residue on my skin. They did remove my makeup well, but the left over product on my face makes me not willing to repurchase.

Okay color, but not really a stain in the long run

I originally bought this product when I was researching cosmetics with very few potentially harmful additives. This product is very low on the EWG's toxicity list, so if you are interested in that, you should definitely check these out.

That being said, I'd like to review these from a comparative standpoint. I own this product in 415 and 420. Both of these colors are very nice, giving my lips a pretty sheer wash of color. Basically my lips but better.

What I do not like about these products is that they are marketed as a stain. When I choose a stain, I expect a product that will stay put for many hours, like the Tarte lip stains or the Stila Crush Lip and Cheek Stains. This product is water-based, however, and therefore most definitely not as long lasting. It was a bit of a disappointment for me, because I really wanted this to be a low toxicity, long-lasting lip product

Complete Adoration!

I have never, in all my beauty life, experienced a product that performs as promised as well as this product does. I've heard stories of girls sleeping in their makeup and waking up looking just as perfect as when they sprayed their face.

For me, it came down to setting my makeup in a hot, sticky environment. I have pretty oily skin and sweat very easily, so when the air conditioner went out at work last summer, my makeup was literally just melting off of my face. Then I discovered this product and could wear beautiful, full face of makeup again with no worries. Cannot recommend this highly enough!

Best Matte Shadow Out There!

These seriously kick butt! Even pigmentation and easy to blend, which is a rare find in a matte shadow. I have tried many other mattes; MAC, bareEscentuals, Studio Gear, you name it, and nothing has ever even come close to these. My favorite is Naked, which is a great, natural looking crease color.

I'm Feeling Retro trio

This trio is pretty nice, especially for the price tag. The blue is richly pigmented and smooth, a very nice shadow and almost worth the price of the trio in itself. The purple-pink was kind of a let down for me. I was expecting something very close to Urban Decay Fishnet Deluxe Shadow, as I am not one to let a price determine quality for me. What I got was much more sheer, but still not bad for $2. The white is a decent shadow, although a little on the frosty side to be a highlighter. Overall, I'd say definitely worth the price!
