too perfumed

This isn't really a bad cleanser. It did a pretty good job at removing makeup and didn't leave my skin dry at all. However, I find that it contains way too much fragrance! Fragrance can be irritating to skin, so putting something on your face that has so much fragrance in it irritate sensitive skin. I felt like I was rubbing a flowery perfume all over my face. Besides that, its a pretty decent cleanser...although not worth all the hype it is getting in my opinion.

Nice color but iffy on the formula

This is my first Essie polish and I was really excited about it because so many people love Essie! The color of this polish is super bright (a little brighter than I was expecting, but still pretty) but I found the formula to be kind of streaky. I feel like I had to put on thick coats to cover my nails because streaks would show through. Nevertheless, I will definitely give Essie another chance and get a couple more colors because they really do have a great range and I love how it is available at the drugstore. "Tart Deco" is also the perfect color for toes in the summer!

Smells delicious!

I just picked this up at the drugstore a couple days ago, and I have to say I am a huge fan already! I really hate using thick, foamy shaving cream on my legs. I just find it way too messy and time consuming to deal with. I had been using Skintimate's cream shave (which is very similar to this product in consistency), but when I ran out of that I really wanted to try out this eos shave cream! The consistency of this lotion is perfect and the smell of the raspberry is so nice and sweet. (...and of course the bottle is bright pink and looks adorable...+1!) I also love that, unlike the Skintimate version, it comes with a pump. Much less messy and easier to use! Using this product actually makes me look forward to shaving. lol! I will definitely be trying out the other scents in the future.

So much more than a regular polish remover!

This is a great product! I was honestly not sure if I would have purchased this myself (I got it for free as part of a Zoya promotion on Facebook). I figured that nail polish remover is nail polish remover...how would this be any different? Well I will definitely purchase it again now that I've tried it! The bottle is very unique and so much easier to dispense polish remover than the regular twist off cap bottles. One downside would be that there were no directions included on how to work the bottle...maybe I'm just an idiot, but it took me a while to figure out that all you have to do is press a cotton ball down on the top, not turn the whole bottle over =p This remover works wonders at taking off all your nail polish. Usually when I'm finished applying my polish, I'll put a little more remover on a cotton swab and go over any messy areas. This is usually extremely difficult and takes forever and a lot of rubbing, but with this remover I barely had to wipe the area before the polish was removed! And the best part? This smells amazing! Not at all like that chemically nail polish remover smell that I'm used to. It has a slightly fruity smell (at least to me). :)

Amazing!

This product is a solid balm that turns into a oily cream consistency on contact. You are supposed to apply it to your face when its dry, which I was super hesitant about but I figured I’d give this product the benefit of the doubt and massaged a little bit onto my dry face, making sure to rub it onto my eyelashes to remove mascara. It was SO easy to do…I was extremely surprised. Of course I was positive there would be some sort of film left on my face from not using a washcloth to remove it, but again it surprised me! All I did was splash water on my face a few times and it felt super clean with no residue at all.

As for makeup removal, it does a stellar job! I usually follow this up with my regular cleanser and cleansing brush, but there are some days I’ll just use this Clinique balm to remove my makeup and head out the door to the gym. My face towels are white, so if there’s any makeup left on my face I’d see it, and almost always there is nothing on the towel! The trick with this balm, though, is to make sure you’ve covered your face completely with it to remove all makeup. There are times I’ve missed places like under my chin and I’ll end up seeing the makeup on the towel after. If you make sure to get all areas, though, this balm will remove everything, including mascara. No raccoon eyes! And also as an added plus, this balm did not make me breakout at all. I was really worried about it doing that (my forehead is super breakout-prone), but I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and have not broken out at all! The only small downside I have for this (like others have mentioned) is that I’m not a huge fan of having to dip my fingers in the product to get it out, but its a very small price to pay for how well this product works and how easy it is to use. Overall, I’d highly recommend this product!

I love this eyeliner!

I had been using Covergirl’s Perfect Blend eyeliner in “Black” for years on my waterline, but recently decided that I wanted to use brown on a daily basis for a less dark look. So, of course, I purchased the same eyeliner in brown. Well, it was terrible. It did not show up at all on my waterline, and the pencil itself was very hard and did not deposit any color. Huge waste of money! After doing a little research, I picked up this (much cheaper) eyeliner and I absolutely love it! Its incredibly soft, and the brown color deposits on my waterline with ease…no more rubbing it into my eyes to try to get the color to show! I plan on purchasing one in black and white as well because I love it so much.

"Marble"

This is not as great as other balms I've tried, but its okay. I would agree with Nancy's comment below that it does have that Bonnie Bell-esque smell to it, which reminds me of a cheap lip balm. The one thing I really like about this is the pigmentation (the one I got is "Marble"). I'm not a fan of lipsticks or lip color, so the pigmentation of this balm is perfect (if you like a lot of color on your lips, this may not be the balm for you). I also like how this is a gloss and balm in one. This is not long lasting at all, however, and not that great at moisturizing.

Works well and doesn't break the bank!

After using up my previous hair mask/deep conditioner, I was on the lookout for something new. Since I’ve promised myself not to spend a fortune on hair care products anymore, I wanted to find something comparable at the drugstore. I’ve always wanted to try this deep conditioner, and I had heard great things about it from youtube! I love the squeeze bottle…its so easy to use. I was incredibly surprised by this conditioner…it made my hair soooo soft, and it was super cheap too! (only $4). So glad I purchased this! I am considering using it as my daily conditioner.

Very nice!

This is my most recent skin care purchase and I absolutely love it! Unlike my Lush Imperialis moisturizer (which I still use at night), this moisturizer contains SPF 15 so it eliminates having to do that step in my routine in the morning…at least for days where I’m not in the sun very heavily (in which case I’ll use at least SPF 30). It has a clean fragrance (slightly sunscreen-y, but I don't find that its overwhelming). It moisturizes much better than I thought it would...it just soaks right into skin and I almost feel like I'm wearing a makeup primer after applying it because it has a silky feel as opposed to that sticky or greasy feel that many moisturizers have. The pump is also a huge plus because the product is not exposed to air.

My Favorite Balms!

I purchased three of these balms (green tea, moon balm, and coconut). The balms themselves are in an oval-shaped container, which is supposed to be so that it will fit in your pocket easily without falling out. The container is interesting and unique, but I find it to be a little weird when applying it because it is not the usual round shape (Being a girl, I also carry a purse 99% of the time, so there’s no reason for me to put it in my pocket haha). The balm itself is amazing! Its super creamy and smooth and I don’t feel like I’m tugging it across my lips to get the product out like I do with some balms. It also stays on my lips a very long time afterwards. The scent for both of the regular balms I got were really nice…I’m a big coconut fan (so I obviously loved that one), and I got the green tea because it sounded like it would be a nice and refreshing scent, which it was! The scent for the Moon Balm is nice as well (described as “Vanilla and Peru Balsam”), but a little odd…I can’t quite put my finger on what I don’t like about it. Its definitely not a bad scent though, just not one I would immediately go for. I usually don’t go for vanilla type scents, so it could be that. The balm itself, however, is absolutely wonderful and my fav out of the 3. Its a bit thicker than the regular balm. I put it on before bed and I could still feel it on my lips the next morning! The best part about Hurraw! Balms are that they are completely organic, certified vegan and fair trade. They also come packaged in a little reusable tea bag! You really can’t go wrong with these balms, so if you are a lip balm junkie like myself (or even if you’re not), you should try these balms out!
