Designers use fashion illustrations, fabric swatches, and photographs when creating cohesive designs for the runway. And now that Fashion week is back, we're completely inspired by these fresh and vibrant sketches. The spring and summer collections for 2012 feature unusually deep hues that veer from traditional pastels. Geometric shapes and patterns create feminine and interesting silhouettes at Rebecca Minkoff, while ombré floral motifs at Jenny Packham pay tribute to prints. And we can't help but hug our green nail polish after seeing that gorgeous Cynthia Rowley khaki gold baby-doll number. We're excited to see what else fashion week has in store this season.
To embrace spring fashion week trends, Beautylish recommends:
- L'Oréal Colour Riche le Gloss in Peach Fuzz
- Lorac Eye Shadow in Dreamy
- Butter London 3 Free Lacquer in Wallis
