After seeing Emma Watson's gilded golf-leaf eyes at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere in NYC, we've noticed that eye appliqué are becoming a new beauty phenomenon. Powders and creams are old news as Beauties experiment with new textures and materials on their eyes: paper, plastic, crystals, rhinestones, feathers, and even sequins! But is this eye makeup revolution just a safety hazard waiting to turn ugly? Beauties, how far do you go with your eye makeup, and what's too extreme for you? Let us know and vote in the poll below!

I've done stuff like this on shoots...only problem is you can't really go above the crease if you want to be able to blink :P

I love seeing looks like this! I would like to create some myself as well! I think it's both super cute and creative. Especially when it's not too much

Personally I wouldn't go with something bigger than smaller rhinestones on the eyelid. Unless its attached to a pair of fake lashes. But then, if you're wearing a set of huge false lashes underneath, that should keep any of your appliques from actually getting in your eyes. You just have to use a good quality lash glue to attach it, like Duo Lash Adhesive.

Looks awesome in photos, but not something I would do to my eyes in real life. My luck I'd manage to injure myself somehow. :/

These sort of looks are great for editorial things but I think for anything else it can be a bit risky to have things which can damage your eyeball so I want to keep my eyes in tack rather than scratching them and so on, but I still totally love these looks in the photos
