After creating the makeup looks at shows in New York City (Narciso Rodriguez, Marc by Marc Jacobs) and Paris (Celine, Sonia Rykiel), Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page meets up with our Beauty Director Ning at the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood. Unless you're Sofia Coppola shooting her movie Somewhere, this haunted hotel typically doesn't allow photography. However, Dick and Ning get special permission to shoot a demo of the gorgeous bronze African Safari-inspired makeup look that Dick created for the Spring 2012 Michael Kors fashion show. Now we know why filming isn't allowed—when the footage comes back, the grainy video with mysterious whispering looks more like an episode of Ghost Hunters than a makeover. See if you can spot the ghost in the first 10 seconds.
