a new staple

I found this in my beauty social bag but only recently started using it (i have a lot of products you see) -- I SO WISH I USED IT EARLIER!!! omg... my skin has a completely different texture and feels SO refreshed and clean after using it! I do find the polish a bit much (also, you will break out for a couple days when your skin is getting used to this) -- so I'll use the cleansing cream without the exfoliating muslin cloth and polish my skin around 2-3x a week instead. A wonderful product that i'm jealous of all the girls "on the other side of the pond" for having easy access to!

worth the money

I got addicted to these products with the mini versions -- they're so handy for travel and keeping in my clutch! I tote around the regular sized ones too though because I love the fresh lemony flavour and the product is super moisturizing... with SPF!!! so important!! this is a bit pricey, so I try not to use it all the time -- more during the day and aquaphor at night

definite buy

this lotion is soooo moisturizing, absorbs easily, and smells good. It's not expensive either, ringing in at around 8 bucks. I keep this just outside my shower door so I can grab it and apply it in the shower after towelling off... I definitely recommend this lotion and the technique as my skin is noticeably softer and smoother ^^

read a magazine after you apply

I bought this in a silver shade to play around with. When I'm feeling bored of my cat eye I'll pull this out and do two layers: 1) line your eye with black pencil 2) the silver goes above (like on top of -- a layer higher) the black pencil then 3) trace the black pencil liner with a liquid liner to even up any shaky hand movements you may have experienced when applying the silver liner. It's different yet subtle enough to rock during the daytime or night time if you so choose.

the pros: long lasting, lots of colours to choose from, not too $$ the cons: takes around 2-3 mins to dry fully, a bit difficult to apply (it's easy to get smudges and weird lines but the method above gives a fairly goof-proof look)

incredible exfoliator

I got to try out this exfoliator with my beautylish "the beauty social" gift bag (score! BTW -- there were so many amazing products gifted and I will definitely do my best to go to the next beauty social) and let me say... this exfoliator is fantastic. You use a bit of manual exfoliation then the enzymes gently slough off the dead skin. Then, radiance. My mother also tried out the product and fell in love... this product makes your skin feel so soft and new. Definitely want to try Kate's other products now.

good pricepoint and alcohol free

This toner is gentle and moisturizing -- after a cleansing I would apply this to my face and truly get off every last bit of makeup. Likey. The large size lasts pretty much forever and comes with free sample makeup (if you get the bonus) so it's rather wallet friendly, but I feel like there are better toners out there still...

signature scent worthy but not for me

This scent is really pretty and clean/ light/ etc. I like it. However, my friend gifted this to me and I applied it -- only for another buddy to be like "dolce gabbana blue? That scent totally reminds me of so and so"; this scent is over-saturated in the signature scent category I guess!

signature scent worthy

Stella used to be my signature scent -- it's really clean and pretty smelling IMHO -- so when I found the rollerball set, my friends and I decided to divy up the set (it's more wallet friendly that way BTW -- i think it's like $40 for the gift set of four and $15 if you buy one individually.... or maybe only $13... whatever. Cheaper to buy as a set). I keep this in my makeup bag/ travel bag/ or purse for some scent on the go. Only teeny annoying thing is that my rollerball has begun to leak a bit but I think that's from having it on the plane/ exposed to all the diff elevations.

signature scent worthy

I was looking for a signature scent for a long time after people told me that I always smelled like nut body butter (!!) uh, not what I'm trying to project -- and after a loooong search, Chloe is my favourite. It's clean, fresh, and pretty smelling, and it doesn't hurt to spritz some into your hair so when you flip it oh so casually people will comment on how nice you smell

sun kissed on a budget

I used to be a tanaholic, but after the damage to my pores, not to mention all the literature about the harmfulness of sunworshipping, I started to look into bronzers. Bonne Bells gel bronze gives a natural, sun kissed tint... just give a squirt to blend with your moisturizer. It is sort of scary looking at the ghetto packaging and the product ("something this cheap Can't be good!") but it is. Such an amazing secret that I swore by, before embracing my paleness (even in the summer).
