a solid everyday primer

You can never be too careful about what you put on your skin, and I like how this is vegan without parabens, fragrance, talc, etc.... and it comes with SPF! I'm pretty lazy about sunscreen and all the rest (what! It's easy to forget if you don't live in 100% sun) but the truth is, even on cloudy days where you don't see the sun, SPF is essential. I like how this primer just smoothes over my pores and helps keep my foundation on all day. I did a lot of research before using this product. Another reviewer had the experience of a similar bottle being only half full, and I'm happy to say that my bottle was fully filled.

best micellar cleanser!

I love this product... I was obsessed with Embryolisse micellar water for the longest time, but Bioderma does the same thing at a better price point! It's refreshing, soothes and moisturizes the skin, removes makeup... and it doesn't leave any residue at all. Can be used as a makeup remover, but I just use it as a toner to remove every last vestige of makeup and moisturize my skin, both in the morning and at night. This also lasts forever, since you only need to use a teeny bit.

germaphobe necessity

I am a bit paranoid about sharing makeup with my family and friends, and this just makes it "safe" and headache free to share the beauty junkie love. I use this on my brushes too when I'm in a pinch/ travelling.... a great think in my makeup arsenal!

makes washing brushes a breeze

Since this purchase, I wash my brushes much more often and don't have to worry about the water seeping into the ferrule/ brush part. If you're investing in quality makeup brushes, it makes sense to spend a bit to get as much life out of your brushes as possible. Saves counter space, super easy to take apart to store, and only $20. A wonderful investment, and I will say... my skin has been very clear since washing my brushes weekly!

emollient

This smells SO good, and goes on rich and luxurious without being greasy. I slather this on at night before bed, put some socks on, and my feet are super hydrated and my hands are soft and feel amazing. Five stars!

Great daytime concealer

I was in the market for a new concealer because my beloved MAC concealer (which comes in a glass bottle) kept getting dropped when I was getting ready. After the third time of seeing my money smashed on the floor, I was like ENOUGH! Time for some plastic packaging for me!!!

I like how this is a squeeze tube (germ free!) and the perfect nude shade is a perfect match for my skin tone! I also am loving how I don't get creases (like some other reviewers have experienced), and the ingredients? Vitamin A, E, and Chilean Tree and bark extract? Yes yes yes. Oh yeah... and $20? Sweet.

NOT so sweet: going out with my girlfriends, looking at the pictures the next day, and having one of those makeup fail moments! You know... how you see celebrities with major eye makeup caked under their eyes shining back in the photo? Yeaaahhh... this concealer does that.

Luckily, I don't go out at night often, so for now, I'll keep using this. Just be aware if you buy this!

I look like a racoon

I don't know why, but some liners just melt off my face! This is one of them. I wore this for a week (yep, I tried this 7 days in a row) and every time, regardless of my activity level, it just slipped off my face. I wanted to love it because the reviews look so good, and I like the theoretical using it three different ways, but just a misssssss for me =(

High Quality Everyday Luxury

I was dubious about this set originally because of the price. HOWEVER, after watching the video and "getting" the work (20 japanese artisans/ brush!) involved and using the set a few times, I can wholeheartedly vouch for this set!

I like how the #21's stiff brush creates natural soft lines. #22 I don't use the lash comb, because my wimpy asian lashes can't hold curl well and I've decided over the last few years to eschew mascara. That said, the brush side is great for softening my brow arches, and give that strong soft Cara D. eyebrow look I want. #23..... this was my hardest sell, because it's "just a spoolie." Honestly, this set is so meticulously crafted, and I really enjoy how I can display these brushes nicely on my makeup counter.... vs having to worry about one end being gross like with those standard other eyebrow double-ended brushes.

Yes, it's an investment, but nothing changes your face like the shape of your brows. If you're on the fence, I'd say DO IT!

better than Orgasm

My previous favourite blush was Orgasm (nars).... haha, but since buying this I have to say I think I may have found a new best blush. The creamy consistency, pretty complimentary colours, and packaging make me a fan. I LOVE this blush... recommend for anyone and everyone!

a luxe everyday splurge

My boyfriend got this for me for my birthday and I have to say I love how luxe it feels. The rose gold lid is so pretty and adds a touch of glamour to my vanity. The cream inside is sort of like a heavy whipped feeling and feels perfect as a winter day cream. I think it is a bit heavy for sunny hot days (unless you have super dry skin) and I will definitely enjoy using this for the rest of the jar but I'm not convinced I need to buy this again in the future. I'm a bit of a germophobe and as much as I love the way it looks, I like pump bottles better so I don't need to worry about cleanliness.
