HG Makeup Remover

I love these so much. They are the only wipes that don't break me out or irritate my skin. They make my skin feel really clean, and whenever I use them I'm always so impressed by how much clearer my skin looks the next morning. I love how they are gentle, but also so effective. If you have sensitive skin, you need to try these!

Not worth the hype.

I really don't understand why these are so popular. I find them to be greasy, and I'm not all that impressed with the color payoff. I'm sure some of the darker colors would be more impressive, but all the lighter pink ones that I've tried (peach parfait, cotton candy, strawberry shortcake) have not been worth the hype to me. I'd rather just invest in a lipstick that gives a lot of pigmentation instead of these, which you have to swatch multiple times to get them to show up.,

Not good for the price

This really isn't that great of a concealer. I couldn't use it on blemishes because it broke me out terribly, plus it didn't cover them well anyways. I use it on my under eye area occasionally, but it doesn't give much coverage and it tends to fade/dry out throughout the day. Definitely not worth your money; there are plenty of better concealers in this price range or cheaper.

TURNED MY FACE ORANGE!!!!

So I thought this was a good primer at first. It does help my makeup stay on all day and it makes my skin look smoother. However, after a few hours it makes my foundation look like an orange mask on my face. I thought my foundation was just the wrong color and so I kept wearing this, until I realized it was this primer that was the problem. I stopped using it immediately and my face doesn't turn orange anymore. This primer isn't worth it. I'd rather just invest in a higher end primer that actually works.

Best drugstore foundation I've tried

So I bought this a few days ago. Before this I had been wearing Laura Mercier's Silk Creme foundation, which I liked, but I don't think I love it enough to repurchase. The first thing I noticed when I put this on is that it matched my skin sooo much better than my LM foundation. I went over to my boyfriend's house the first day I wore this, and I asked him if he noticed anything different, because I was trying to get him to notice that I took out my feather extensions, and the first thing he pointed out is that my skin looked really smooth! Just goes to show you don't need to spend $40 to get the best foundation. I do like the coverage, although it is a bit lighter than my LM foundation, but I noticed that my pores are A LOT less visible with this foundation on. It also seems to last all day, even when it's about 80 degrees outside. There are a couple of cons though; I have noticed that it really shows dry patches of skin, although I'm hoping that's just my primers fault. Also, it's kind of hard to get off. I'll wash my face at night and it feels like I'm trying to get paint off my face (although it's not like I have to scrub or anything) and then I'll go over my face with makeup remover and there's still so much left on my face. Overall, I think this is a great foundation and I will definitely repurchase it.

Like the product, hate the color.

I have this blush in peace satin. I sometimes wear it underneath another blush to help it stay on, and it does, which I like. However, this color is just so frosty! If I don't cover it up enough, it makes my pores stand out and look bigger. I think I would repurchase this in a different color, because I do like this product, I just wish it was less frosty.

I don't really like it.

This really does almost nothing for my dark circles. It barely covers then and it blends horribly. I've used it on blemishes and it's ok. I think it works better on blemishes than it does on dark circles. I'm not sure how well it works as a base. My eye makeup does stay on all day, but I think that's just because I put foundation and eye primer on over it.

Best Pencil Liner Ever!

I went to Sephora with the intention of getting the Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in zero, but when I got there, they were out of stock so I starting exploring some other options. I went to the Smashbox display and swatched Onyx (their black) and was very impressed by it's pigmentation. I tried to rub it off and it wouldn't budge. Just as I was going to purchase, they restocked the UD eyeliners so I swatched Zero next to it, and I was so impressed by how much more pigmented and how much better the staying power was of Smashbox's pencil liner over Urban Decay's. I love this liner, it stays on all day and barely ever runs. I'll definitely repurchase if I ever run out.

Overrated.

This mascara did nothing for me. The formula isn't too great, and the packaging reminds me of a fisher price toy. I think the wand is awful; it's too big and the bristles are too small, so it really doesn't add much length or volume. Plus it did nothing for my lower lashes. This is definitely one of the most overrated beauty products out there.

Worst mascara I've ever used.

I bought this only because I thought the packaging was so cute that I had to give it a try. It really doesn't do much in terms of length or volume, though it does make them a little darker. What I noticed the most is that it runs like crazy! I had horrible black eyes after using this. I'll never ever ever try this again.
