Good and Bad

To start with the shade I bought matched my winter skin color perfectly (aka white ghost) and it's from the drugstore so it won't break the bank. The problems I have with this foundation is that I'm a young teenager and I just found the finish too UNNATURAL. It is very matte and with me being so pale it made me look LIKE A CHINA DOLL. In the winter I had dry skin and this does look GOOD ON DRY SKIN, I had no problems with clinging oddly. So it gives a sort of AIRBRUSHED perfect look. (can be great for some people!) Another bad thing I found was that it does sort of DISINTEGRATE THOUGH THE DAY, even with not oily skin. This could be that my powder wasn't very good or due to the fact that I never touchup my powder. The application is BEST WITH A SPONGE, I tried using a flat ecotools foundation brush but it was such a hassle because the texture makes it very hard to apply with a brush. Using a sponge makes it look very pretty and with a slightly damp sponge thats wrung out it makes it a bit more sheer and natural. I actually really do not recommend a brush also because it applies the foundation too heavily (thinking back this could have been what I was experiencing the day it was sort of disintegrating) Lastly I find the COVERAGE TO BE AVERAGE, it evens out skin tone but doesn't cover bright red acne scars or dark eye bags. The only problem is it is NOT BUILDABLE, what you see it what you get. Try layering and it will only backfire.

YOU WILL LIKE THIS IF: you like a flawless matte finish, you apply it lightly (with a sponge), you have a good concealer for anything you really need to cover, you don't have very oily skin, you don't mind touching up powder in the T-zone.

Doesn't Work

It really does nothing unless I spray loads of it in and then the only thing it does is leave a grey cast. It also doesn't spray out much product at all, I try scratching on the dispenser and shaking a lot but it won't sprey out any.

Drugstore Matte!

I got this product on a great deal and I'm so glad I picked it up! The shadows are rather powdery but you don't get fallout upon application. I use the vanilla product as a brow bone highlight, it looks a lot more natural than a shimmery highlight. The darkest sort of grey shade is perfect for smudging out eyeliner, defining a natural smokey eye, or for me a brow filling powder (it's really not as blue toned in real life) the two brown shades are disappointingly similar in real life but are perfect for blending shimmery lid colors into the crease. One is slightly darker and grey toned which makes it slightly more dramatic. They are all delightfully blendable and natural looking. I use them everyday with my other various quads and trios because I really don't fancy a glitter ball look. I use it with one or two shimmery colors and then this balances it out.

These Blushes Pack a Punch!

Some of the most pigmented products in my makeup collection! You have to use a really light hand but they look AMAZING when applied. I own them all because I have yet to find a blush I like as much in the whole drugstore. Pearlescent pink is my everyday blush, because I don't need a highlighter because it does have a nice amount of shimmer. Mellow wine is my favorite blush because its the most matte and I use it a little farther back on the cheeks when I don't feel like contouring as well. Heather Silk is a bright dramatic blush that I always use for my stage makeup in dance and theatre because it is a visible colors but a natural shade, not neon or anything. Berry Shimmer is like a mix of Pearlescent Pink and Heathersilk because it's glittery and dramatic, I use this one the least because it is by far the most pigmented and I prefer natural makeup.

Too Thin

If your lips really need help, this product won't do it. I don't recommend this for anyone in the winter! In the summer though I don't mind using this because it is incredibly soft and refreshing, it feels almost watery when you put it on. It smells nice and the packaging and price are convenient. I love nivea products as I grew up using them but my lips need more TLC than this product offers.

Beautiful

This lipgloss isn't tooo sticky. If you aren't a lipgloss fan, this isn't a game changer, but if you like to wear lipgloss this one is a great choice. It has a light tingly minty taste. It isn't very sticky but it's not incredibly smooth and watery- in short it's just a lipgloss that's not bad! The color of Midnight Cowboy is GORGEOUS! It gives just enough of the nude look to tone down my naturally pigmented lips when I do dramatic eyes but the nude color isn't opaque and lets your natural color show through, so it's not too dramatic for anytime. Perfect if you don't like nude lipsticks but like dramatic eye makeup.

All Around Great

I've never been disappointed by an OPI nail polish EXCEPT when they're not as pretty on the nail as in the bottle. The prices aren't ideal but you really get a good quality product and a lot of polish for the price. I've tried shimmers, sheers, frosts, cremes, crackles, top coats, base coats etc etc and every polish has been great. Most polishes (not the purposefully sheer ones) are opaque with one coat and enhanced with two rather than requiring two. The brushes are large, making application quick and easy for most but if you have extremely small nails it may not be the best. The polishes are also generally very quick to dry, in my experience.

A Low Maintenance Red Lip?!

This stain is AMAZING! I have the just bitten stain marker in Flame which is a very similar bright red and that wears off so unevenly and even applies rather unevenly on my less than moisturized lips. But this balm stain is awesome. You do have to apply a coat or two of it if you want it to last all day. If you prefer the look of it a bit more sheer (as I do some days) than you will have to reapply after eating to maintain the subtle look. This can be perfectly described as a tomato red. It applies evenly and is not waxy or drying. I still apply chapstick throughout the day because i'm addicted to the slick feel of fresh lip product- but there's a bonus that this does not rub off on my lip balms so I don't have to keep using this, I can apply once and use a regular lip balm the rest of the day! This means the product will definitely last you a long time. It's totally worth the price and I guarantee you will find this on some kind of special. There is a cinnaminty smell/taste upon application that goes away in less than a minute, but its kind of cool anyways. It doesn't do any tingling or plumping. One thing I love is that when people will see this it looks like a beautiful tint rather than a lipstick, its not thick or noticeable like a lipstick.

My Go-to lip product

I'm sure you've heard plenty about the texture etc. so I'll just go over the shades I have to help you choose which color to get- because you really should get one! Peach Parfait: beautiful natural shade that just gives a shimmery lipgloss effect with a subtle pink hue. Sugar Plum: looks purple but it's very close to my lip color (which is pretty dark) so I love this for every day. Fig Jam: sooo underrated! I adore this shade for a bohemian vibe. The best brownish shade for more fair girls because it's sheer and has a nice sheen and red undertones so it looks really natural. Lollipop: I just don't like bold colors but this one is very low matienence. Short lasting though and comes off on everything you drink and stuff (so do all the other colors) Tutti Frutti: Sheer red toned orange that's very trendy and glossy looking.

Hope that helped!

Great

First of all the little circle "swatch" of natural on here is WAY off. Look up some swatches. But anyways: It gives a nice dewey finish that lasts long enough for me. I've never tried setting it with a powder blush but I would recommend it if you have a sheer blush or translucent powder because the lasting time isn't the best. I can have oily skin sometimes and it doesn't come off because of that. It's a big uncomfortable for me to blend into my cheeks with my fingers. I don't know what kind of brush I would use though. The color is beautiful but not actually the most "natural" shade. It's a creme finish with no shimmer or glitter at all.
