not sure what the hype is

i grabbed the little guy of this to give it a try since everyone and their mother is raving about this mascara. i used it maybe 4 times and now it just hangs out in my drawer, sad that im neglecting it! i love big brushes so that wasnt really the problem. the formula wasn't either... but this mascara doesn't do anything amazing. from what i heard about it, it gives volume and lengthening like no other but i have drugstore mascara that does a better job than this one. it also smudges like crazy on my eyes, a big turn off! if you really are dying to try this, buy the little one and make sure you love it before you shuffle out full price for a full size

out of this world amazing!

these are quite possibly the best eyeshadows to find in the drugstore. the quality you get for the price is unbelievable! i have yet to come across a chalky shade or one with bad pigmentation. wet n wild has stepped it way up there with their products and now i make a regular stop on my beauty buying days. what shocks me most is seeing that these have better pigmentation than some mac shadows. there are also a few mac dupes in some of these palettes. if you keep walking by these in the store, snatch one up sometime and give them another shot. you won't be disappointed!

definitely not a fan

i actually hate this mascara with a strong passion! i don't know if it's just the brush or the formula.. it doesnt seem to coat my lashes too evenly and forget about it for my lower lashes. this is so hyped up on youtube and in blogs that i almost feel like giving it another chance, but i know i'll be disappointed.

well deserved attention-getter

this has the attention of quite a few girls on youtube and it's understandable why. its a great brush! ive seen it used for powder and liquid products and it buffs each out great. i personally use mine for powder and i don't have any issues with it. its dense enough to grab product but not so dense that it doesnt move. the bristles have a lot of flexibility to them. at $3, you really can't go wrong with this one. it's also soft and hasn't shedded on me yet. another hit for ELF in my book!

nice color selection!

theres definitely something for everyone in this range of polish. they apply great and generally take only one or two coats. i have found that some are really thick and need thinning (im looking at you, mint sorbet) but overall, they're a good buy. they last quite some time on me and don't chip much. the color doesn't fade either which is always a plus. i have the invisible coat that goes ontop and it really holds down your polish! its a bit tougher to remover with the clear coat on top.. which i love!! if its a pain to remove, that means its really locked down on my nails

perfect for everyday

this isn't going to do much for your lashes except give them a great coating of a mascara formula. the brush isn't spectacular and you shouldn't expect anything out of this. that's probably why i love it so much! it coats my blonde lashes great and holds a pretty good curl as well. it's not dramatic and good for a quick run out of the house. i even wear this to work sometimes because it's so natural. a lot of people don't like this because it doesnt do extraordinary things but that's why i love it so much

love

i have painterly and bare study. these colors are great, good for everyday. i also have oily lids so a primer is a must underneath these. paint pots are great for changing or enhancing a color. definitely a product from mac thats worth the money

the wet formula will drive you nuts

until it dries out a bit. when i first got this, it was so wet i didn't even want to bother with it. itd hit my lid or bleed down. it would also clump up unbelievably and drive me insane. however, now that it's dried out a bit and more manageable, its lovely. i believe christine from temptalia said something along the lines of i dont want a make up product that i have to do tricks with to make it work. thats my thoughts on this.

didn't really understand the hype..

until i stopped into macys and swatched it. i was able to grab it before it was impossible to find and fell in love. this is a great palette if you like to play with neutrals. however, if you hate shimmer, skip it!

now that i've had this for awhile, i've grown to appreciate it more. it's a really nice selection of ud's neutrals, which you dont get from other ud palettes because you always get a color mixed in. if you have a lot of neutrals in your collection, i would skip this. its not a must have. however, if you are a neutrals girl and youre looking into trying out UD, its an amazing value.

i have chipping/peeling issues

not sure if its just my bottle (old or bad batch) but i own fiji and it peels/chips off within about a day. i've tried a few top coats and nothing seems to work. this is the only essie color ive tried so im a little leery about picking up another one. as far as application goes though, the brush size is smaller but it doesn't take forever to apply it. i never get streaking or weird build up either. the polish is glossy so if you aren't big on top coats but you like shine, this would be a great choice
