Maybelline New York Makeup Artist Jo Strettell created a dramatic face on Parks and Recreation actor Rashida Jones—an unexpected twist to the feminine and gauzy silhouette of her gown.

Jo first prepped Rashida’s skin with Maybelline Fit Me! Foundation in Honey Beige, then dusted Maybelline New York Fit Me! Blush in Medium Mauve on the apples of the cheeks. She lined the eyes with Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black, dotting the liner between areas of Rashida’s top and bottom lashes. Jo used Maybelline Eye Studio Master Drama Cream Pencil in Coal Commander to set the gel liner and line the entire inner rim of the eye. She then applied a shimmery cream shadow to the inner corners of the eyes and on the brow bone. She coated the lashes with several coats of Maybelline The Falsies by Volum’ Express Mascara in Blackest Black. Jo swiped the lips with a deep plum—Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipcolor in Dazzling Plum.
