Met Costume Institute Gala Makeup: Sarah Jessica Parker
Published May 3, 2011

Sarah Jessica Parker shined in archive 2005 Alexander McQueen gown—we're a little jealous of her date, too! See how celebrity makeup artist Leslie Lopez gave Sarah '50s modern makeup.
MAKEUP SARAH JESSICA PARKER AT THE 2011 MET BALL
“Sarah Jessica’s look reminded me of Tippi Hedren from the movie “The Birds”. She was wearing a gold-grey metallic dress that had a 50’s glamour feel, but I didn’t want to focus on 50’s makeup. I wanted to make it modern and glamorous.”
Leslie started the look with CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 in Beige Rosé-Tendre and CHANEL Éclat Lumière Face Pen in Medium, and then finished off the cheek with CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Dust.
For the eyes, Leslie used CHANEL Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Torrent and lined the inside of the eyes with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Noir. For the lips, she wanted a very pretty rose pink look and used CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in Fétiche.
