Dreamy Creamy Lip action!
This Lipstick is like a chapstick, gloss & lipstick in one! I cannot lie i started using Good-to-go right after the makeup artists from the original twilight said they used it on Kristen stewart (ok i was excited...) But i was remarkably surprised when it turned out to be such an amazing lipstick! I picked mine up at my local Ulta for over $20 (cant quite remember how much) Here's my thoughts:
-Adorable Packaging & Product Names -Cute professional sleek black & white tube -Slanted tube/lipstick which is perfect -Glides on effortless and doesn’t leave your lips dry or chapped -Smooth Creamy formula for high Natural shine -Very soft but melts & breaks very easily, so be careful! -Highly pigmented & a great selection to choose from -Not very long lasting but reapplication is always needed for lip products -located at all sephora, ulta, benefit counters & online
I own Skinny jeans, Good-to-go & My Treat and i would repurchase these as soon as i am out! Because of the not so long lasting effect these lipsticks have i always have to have it on me when im out. But if anyone who knows me knows i have a whole makeup travel bag with me of just lip products so i don’t mind :)
Voluptuous Lips whenever!
It was love at first apply! I wanted a good sturdy lip plumper that wouldn’t burn my lips and make my skin peel off; been there, done that! I also wanted something that was cute, and had a great story behind it! I was pleasantly surprised by the buxom line and there pin up girl Big & Healthy Lip Polishes! The boxes itself are an eye catcher & the products amazing! I purchased mine at my local sephora for i believe for $19 (not sure). My thoughts:
-Adorable Pin up Packaging & girly names with a WIDE selection of colors -Large tube with long doe foot applicator -Minty smell & gives your lips a cooling effect while it plumps you up -No sting what so ever, results show usually after 5-10 mins -Smooth & natural finishes for ALL day reapplication & wear -Great pigmentation for sheer to heavy coverage. Very Buildable -Located at Sephora, Ulta Bare Escentual counters & online I own 5 of these to date, which seems excessive i know but they are the only lip plumpers i use now. I even have 2 in my makeup kit for clients because it just works the best! BEST TIP: Apply 20 mins before you are actually going to use lipstick it plumps your lips beautifully and by adding on top of lipstick it keeps it that way! Stop by any location to try these babes out!
The Original Peachy!
This is the original Coralista by Benefit, I had this all over powder long before coral was the it color on the beauty market! I am really bummed Thebalm doesn't get as much coverage as it should! This is an awesome Blush, Highlighter, eyeshadow and more all in one! I purchased mine at Sephora for around $21 and this pan of product last forever i swear! Here are my Thoughts:
-Super small cute Retro Packaging & Large Pan of product -Travel safe & Makeup bag safe - A light peachy pink shade with gold for a sheer wash of color -Buildable color but works well with cheek stains the best or as a highlighter/eyeshadow -Last a good amount of time unless your sweating alot but easy to re-apply without looking like you just did. -No crazy smells and product does build up in pan this is where fall out will occur. just tap it all off and your fine. -Located at Sephora & Online
Hands down its a great all over product, i wear this & coralista by benefit alot because its my favorite color spectrum for my skin tone. Because this isn't just a blush its really worth the price and Thebalm has an awesome selection worth checking out!
Mary-Lou Womanizer!!!
Shes Also a Womanizer that's for sure! Mary-Lou Manizer is an awesome all over shimmery pressed powder great for any and all occasions. Its been out on the market for years and i cannot believe it doesn't get the lime light like other highlighters. Its just as good or even better than some that i have!! I even use this more the the critically acclaimed Lorac Highlighter pressed powder that everyone raved about. In the end, she famous right? I highly recommend this Luminizer for all highlighters around the world!
Ingenious Powders that do All!!
The Balm Overshadows i thought were just pigments, so i purchased 2. 1 in "If your Rich, Im Single" & 1 in "No Money, No Honey". Turns out these are another one of Thebalms ingenious products that are multiple use for all over perfection! I purchased mine at a sephora while on vacation and i cannot remember how much but i am glad i did. Here's why.
-Cute Retro Packaging with hilarious names! -Screw Top Jar with Puffy top logo, name on bottom of pigment -Great Multiple use Pigment. Foil them, eyeshadow, over shadows, highlighters, Nail polish. They can be used all over! -Blendable & Buildable coverage for all day wear -Loose Pigment = Fallout -High pigmentation & Shine in each color. -Sheer coverage Dry, but Foiling them makes them worth you wild! -Located at Sephora & Online
It makes me disappointed that Thebalm doesn't get the recognition it deserves, They do have wonderful quality items and the packaging itself makes the these a conversation starter for any occasion. Check them out <3
Sweet notes of perfection!
Addicting smell & the romantic retro styled bottle itself i had to purchase this! I am a HUGE fan of Victoria Secrets Perfume lines, i worked for the company during this launch and ive been wearing it ever since! I picked mine up at my local Victoria Secret's and the price varies between sizes. Here's some thoughts
-Long Lasting Luxurious Fruity Floral tones with a hint of a baby powder like hue. -Comes in Perfume & Body mist. Lotion & body wash as well -Glass bottle with old fashion pump. Perfect for any Vintage flashback moment -Great for Day or night wear and any season -NEVER had any problem with clogging or the pump not working
I have a travel size body mist of this in my purse or gym bag right now, i love going back to it because it makes me feel so flirty & feminine! I love being a woman and this smell helps me show it off! Stop by your local Victoria Secrets to catch a whiff!
A Pinky Perfection!
First off a shiny pink tube that almost resembles a nail polish? Hmm what is this? Lip stain!! That was my first impression, i ended up trying this first in a sample pack they sold during last years Christmas collection (2010). Ive never purchased a full size, just always in a bundle. Im such a fan though! You can pick these up at Sephora, Ulta, Any Benefit counter or online. Here's my thoughts:
-Super cute tube with nail polish like brush for application (kinda weird) -Gorgeous shade of pink for your lips or blush -Buildable Liquid product for any skin tone -Not very long lasting as a lip stain. reapplication is necessary with all lip products -Used as a Base for blush its perfect! Layer a powder on top for long lasting all day wear blush. By itself its not very noticeable. -Travel safe & a screw top lid to keep product from spilling -Medium price range for a lip stain but you get ALOT of product in one tube -Hard to get product out when you get low, so like any nail polish like tube.. Shake, Shake, Shake!!
I am never disappointed by Benefit and its a local company for me so i just ADORE it even more! I will eventually purchase a full size ones my 5 deluxe samples are empty haha! I would recommend trying this product out first like i did Sephora always sells sample $10 kits online and in stores. Its better than committing to buying and hating a product! I have fair skin and it works very well for me!
ONE STOP Perfect Skin in a Box!
Benefit's 2nd conceal box i have purchased and this one is nothing less than 1st place in the race! Its SOO much better than the smaller/original box they once had! I disliked the original because it was set for medium tone skin and had 3 mini highlighters/tints and that's it. boring right? This Kit wasn't shy of boring at all! I purchased mine for around $36 at my local benefit counter in my Ulta. Heres my thoughts:
-Perfect One stop conceal box, adorable packaging that looks like a book & sample heaven for all items -Step By Step instructions & 2 double concealer Brushes (awesome for travel too) -Medium - Full coverage concealer in Light to Medium -Heavy Duty thick concealer so a little goes a long way (must set this with powder) -Primer & Eye Brightener included. Give you the awake look without eye shadow -That Gal Deluxe Sample tube for on the go great for highlighting cheek bones, bow of lips & eyebrows -Travel safe & climate safe. Not to bulky but it is a box. -NOT PRICEY AT ALL. 6 almost more than deluxe sample products, 2 double sided brushes & a how to guide all in a book styled box.. It a steal!
This kit really does help you achieve a flawless base so your foundation set is alot easier! Acne, scars, or blemishes look out benefit packed a box that will sure keep you hidden away! I use this box first set everything with a face powder and move on to blush & lips and i have a perfect natural look without the efforts of eyeshadows or layers upon layers of liquid foundation. 5 Hues to Perfection!
I tend to never lean towards Mosaic powders because they sometimes are a hit & miss! NYX did quite an amazing job pairing these Mosaic powders together, hands down. They give you enough of each spectrum of the color range your looking for so you can keep it light, darken it up.. or even brighten! Each NYX Mosaic Powders come with 5 hues in a pan, so its safe to say once you swirl the combination it will be perfect, right? I purchased mine at my local Ulta for around $6, here's what i thought:
-Round black clam case very similar to MAC blush -Not travel safe & will shatter easily due to multiple different layers pressed together -Great Pigmentation & color pay off (they pack a punch!) -Buildable & easy to go sheer or darker/brighter -Powdery and all of the product build up with occur in blush tin (must tap off brush before applying or else it will be clown time! haha ) -Matte & shimmery hues are mixed here for a perfect combination -Affordable & Located online and Ulta (for me atleast)
My fair skin normally shows everything to the max, but the color love i picked up is my perfect coral color! It looks amazing paired with a bronzer as well! I find these powders to be more effective than elf, and for a few more dollars there a steal compared to other companies. NYX did it again, i recommend it!
Fresh, Minty & Shiny Packed Tube!
Just looking at the top of the Lipgloss tube made me want it. It was beyond Cool, just like all of Urban decays products. I am a lipgloss/lipstick addict so of course something this flashy & cool must be added. I purchased my lipgloss at my local Ulta for around $18-19 i believe (not sure) but i picked the color Crush! What i think..
-Medium Size Lipgloss tube with metal like & plastic Cap (squeeze tube) -Bigger tube = More gloss! -Medium price Range & sold at sephora, ulta & online. -High pigmentation & smooth on the lips (not sticky or super oily) -Lasting power is a little weak but reapplication is required with any lip product - AMAZING cooling effect for the lips, makes my lips feel cool & almost cold -Minty flavor/smell that suppost to make your breath feel fresh but ive never noticed that on myself -This doesnt remind me of toothpaste mint but more like an after affect of minty gum or a tic tac
In all i adore this gloss, its a great new addition to my collection & i enjoy it often. I go back to it because of the cooling effect which is just the best!! I do recommended trying it out!
