BLACKTRACK

I've been using this product since high school. Thank you to the Santa Anita Nordstrom makeup artist that recommended it to me!! I can't live without this product. I have small asian eyes, and it makes them pop when I do my wing liner :)

MATTE FOUNDATION

I was a tinted moisturizer user in my early 20s, but then I needed more coverage. I have combination skin, so I can't use the Original Foundation. In fact, I only use Original as a concealer/brightener under my eyes and around my T-zone since it has mica (the glow factor). I use the Matte Foundation along with Brightening Primer, and it stays on all day. Sometimes, I'll put my makeup on around 7AM, and then I'll do a quick touch-up before I go out to dinner/happy hr. Oh and if the Matte feels powdery or dry, I'll mist my face with Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner. That toner is friggin amazing!!

So Bad For Your Skin

Ok so this is coming from my Esthetician teacher! I haven't used this product since hs, but all I remember is it used to break me out every time I used it. Anywho, the granules are WAY too big and super harsh on our delicate facial skin. Miss Larissa informed us that the huge granules actually make small scratches on the skin. I totally understand why some people would love this product though. My bf is the same way. He has really oily skin, and as a result, he wants to "FEEL" it working. The trick is getting a GENTLE DAILY exfoliating cleanser tho.

Best Drugstore Gel Eyeliner

I've been using Bobbi Brown and MAC gel eyeliners since high school. That's over 10 yrs! Wow I'm old lol They are worth the $16-20. However, my coworker at BE was raving about this product, so I gave it a try. It's REEEEALLY close to the BB and MAC ones. Now I have one at work for touch-ups and one at home :) Yay

Oh and I agree! The brush should be smaller!

Sulfur - Best Acne Product

Sulfur doesn't dry out skin like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. It just targets bacteria and helps your skin to heal. Great for prevention and for those red bumps that haven't fully reached the surface yet. I found that this product worked best when I took the time to massage it into the area. Of course, I also exfoliate once a week, so product more readily absorbs into my skin (it doesn't have to fight its way thru the dead skin cells as much). I wouldn't be raving so much about it, but it also works for my bf, who has oily skin/super prone to breakouts

SKIN LIKE BUTTA!

Alright so yes I'm Asian, and I have good genes, good skin. HOWEVER, my skin is getting drier and I use mineral foundation. So I use this product in 2 ways. I use it before my moisturizer, or I use it to set my foundation. Or sometimes both. Either way, my skin is so smooth and flawless after! Love this product! I was happy to find that it came in a travel size for $9 at Ulta. I'm a sucker for travel size and kits

Great Product, But Don't Use It Very Often

Ok so I love how this product highlights. My only issue is that I don't use it very often. I find that I prefer my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish more, possibly bc I prefer highlighters in the powder form. They are much easier to layer with foundation, etc. However, if I'm wearing tinted moisturizer, I love using this liquid highlighter! Then, I set with my Bare Escentuals mineral veil.

My Faves: Gina, Angelika, Super Orgasm

Dayaaaaaam Gina! I wore this color today with a lil mascara, Bare Minerals foundation (matte formula on the face to even out skin and original formula under the eyes to brighten), tinted mineral veil spf and anastasia brow pen (universal deep shade). I received so many compliments on my skin and my blush!! It's also perfect for Fall 2011's bold blush trend

Best Natural Primer

Hands down this is the best eyeshadow primer that is ALSO good for your skin! I've tried Smashbox and UD eye primers, and they only work for a couple of hours on my eyelids. For one, I'm Asian, so my lids sit directly on top of each other. It's definitely hard to keep my eyeshadow in place. However, this primer keeps my eye makeup in place for 8+ hours!!!! MAC eye primer works well too, but I'm not a fan that it comes colored. BE one goes on clear

FAMOUS DUO

@cindy g. misfit is my favorite as well! at first, i was attracted to the teal color, but i use the cream color as a contour/band-aid color pretty much every single day! i love the teal color when i do a quick colorful smokey eye :)
