Do Not Be Afraid of the Color Design Palette

The shadows are super creamy and blendable. They stay all day long. The Color Design palette looks very vibrant but are not the high-impact color you might expect. They still give a natural look. You can wet them and bring out more of the vibrancy, but using them dry you will find them very easy to blend. The more you layer, the more the color comes out. I gave the palette(s) 4.5 stars due to the price. Yes, it's still less expensive than going and buying 10 Mac eyeshadows, but you do expect to get a bit of a deal for palettes.

Best Lip Brush Ever

This lip brush is genius. The super fine and sturdy edge to the brush helps perfectly draw a line on the outside edges of your lips. The rounded shape of the brush allows precise fill in of the lip without over-running the line. The brush works well with all lip color formulas but I particularly find it amazing with my OCC Lip Tar colors.

Most-Used Brush

I have collected about 8 Wayne Goss brushes now. #19 is my favorite and most-used. It is great for crease work, corner work. It's amazing for highlighting in the corner of the eyes, down the nose and cupids bow of the lip. I am thinking of getting a 2nd just because I use it so much.

Like a Magic Eraser for your face!

Just like I love those white magic erasers for cleaning up finger prints and stains around the house, this Clean-up Pencil is like a magic eraser for makeup mistakes. Shadow, mascara, lip color, all are removed with much less mess. I need to get another one so I can have one in my purse and at home.

Bye Bye Laugh Lines

The blur stick is my last step before I'm finished. I just use a light swipe down each laugh line (marionette line) and the lines disappear. Foundation does not settle in the lines, enhancing them.

Take out those foundations you weren't crazy about!

This brush makes EVERY foundation go on smoothly and look like skin. If you are like me and have several foundations in your makeup drawer that were a good shade match but you were less than thrilled with the look, this is the brush for YOU! Yes, it is a bit expensive. But all those foundations that you wrote off as a loss may be useable again! Now, instead of having several foundations that I don't know what to do with, I have to make a choice each morning on which one I'm going to use. Works wonderfully on all forms of foundation - cream, liquid and powder. Yes, there is a tiny bit of hair fall-out when you first start to use it, but this is typical for natural hair brushes and will stop after a half-dozen uses.

Great Spring Color

I recommend using a little moisturizer on your cheeks before applying if, like me, you have dry skin. This will help the slip and blendability on the cheeks. This is a lovely universal color for lips and cheeks that is great for a casual spring look.

Soft and luxurious

This is a great foundation and powder brush. It's very soft on the skin only requires a light touch. I don't use it as much for stippling but blending and smoothing foundation on to the skin.

Fabulous Push/Tight-line Brush

I received this little brush in the Neutral Lucky Bag a few weeks ago. My first thought was "Meh". I love Wayne Goss' brushes and own several of them. But I have other push/tight-line brushes so I probably wouldn't have spent the money (as reasonable as it is) on this one. I guess Beautylish knew that I DID need this brush. It is tiny. Looks unremarkable, but it's the best little push/tight-line brush I own. It grabs onto and lays down the shadow wonderfully, whether tight lining on top of the upper lashes or underneath the upper. It's quick and thorough. Don't let this simple little brush fool you. It is a work-horse. Get it!! Don't think twice!

A Generous Bag

I ordered the Natural bag and received almost $190 worth of product for my $75. I received 2 Kevyn Aucoin shadows (rollerball and compact), an Ellis Faas Milky Lip, Bliss body moisturizer. Lit eye sparkle kit, Wayne Goss #08 brush (yay!) Indie Lee toner and more. All are full-sized products.

While some of the items I received I probably would not order, the cost of those that I would order still surpassed $75. I debated between the 3 bags. I probably should have gone with Bold (as I love a red lip and some bold eyes - not at the same time!) but chickened out a bit and went with Natural. I almost chose the MUA, as I am a former freelance makeup artist, but didn't really need things for a kit.

I'm definitely doing this purchase again.
