Q: What's the deal with your name?
A: Kappa (yes, it's my full first name) was the name of a girl my mom went to summer camp with as a kid. She'd always liked the name, so she gave it to me! The girl whose name inspired mine was from Eufaula, Alabama. I've never met her.
