Absolutely Dreadful

I don't understand how this product has such rave reviews! This balm did NOTHING to help chapped lips, did nothing to prevent chapped lips... Really it did nothing at all! I felt like I was rubbing a beeswax candle on my lips, and that's about as much benefit I got as well. The smell is nasty and medicinal, the texture is waxy and uncomfortable, and it didn't provide or maintain any moisture whatsoever. 0/10 Would not recommend.

Not really a fan.

I heard great things about this brand, and I was looking for a dry shampoo that is easier to blend in and avoid the dreaded powder white hair. Unfortunately, this didn't blow me away. While it did an okay job at covering up some third-day greasiness, it was still much lighter than my brown hair and it was extremely difficult to blend in.

However, the main issue I have with this product is the awful smell. It has this horrible, cloyingly sweet fragrance that permeates the entire room and lasts for hours. I actually got a migraine from the lingering odor on my hair. For this reason, I will never purchase this again.

Zaps pesky zits fast!

I'm fortunate in that I don't have to deal with severe acne, only the occasional pimple here and there. Sometimes though I get big ol' volcanos that lurk under the skin for a week or more(cystic acne). A dab of this gel at night before bed helps dissolve those bad boys in days! Used on a regular zit, they disappear overnight.

Fabulous product, only complaint is that it dries out my skin a bit--but that's expected from a salicylic acid product.

Awful Smell

I do like these little towels. They remove makeup pretty well, and leave my face feeling clean. I don't have much acne except for the odd blemish here and there, and these help keep them at bay without having to go through a whole routine.

Pros: - Removes face makeup - Helps treat minor blemishes

Cons: - Smells atrocious and the smell lingers - Drying - Burns near eyes (though I'm sure there's a warning on there somewhere to keep it away)

The best of the best!

I use Carmex products every day! The lip moisturizers are the best-- no frills, just complete healing. There is a distinct tingling sensation when you use the balm in the squeeze tube, but it is a good feeling. I prefer the stick just for ease of use, but all of the products work just as well. Additionally, I like the smell. Some people don't, but it doesn't linger so it isn't too big an issue.

Lasts for ages!

I've used this for every makeup look I have done and it never disappoints! It melts into my skin and makes my makeup last for hours (even DAYS). Feels light and refreshing, doesn't smell, and you just can't beat $3 price! I've been able to wear the same eye makeup for THREE DAYS (though tossing and turning sleep, two showers, and 12 hour work days) with only minor touchups using this spray and the e.l.f. eyelid primer. An added bonus: it feels amazing if you have a sunburn to just spritz some of this on over your aloe gel.

The best!

What words can justify how awesome this product is?? Smooth application, long lasting results, and an UNBEATABLE price. Truly the holy grail of eyeshadow primers! I've tried Benefit, Tarte, Urban Decay, and Makeup Forever primers and none of them compared to the humble e.l.f. primer. I have been able to wear the same eye makeup for THREE DAYS (including rolling all over sleeping, taking two showers, working 12 hours a day in a coffee shop) with only minor touchups using this primer combined with the setting spray. A miracle worker to say the least!

Too sheer!

I've tried Black, Gunmetal, and Midnight and all three were just too sheer. No matter how many times I tried to build up the opacity, it stayed sheer and uneven. I couldn't get a good wing or even a smooth line, and they wouldn't stick on the waterline at all. Completely useless to me. I would not recommend, even for $3.

Handy little palettes for a girl on the go!

I love these little quads for travel or quick touchups away from home. There are several great color combos and in general the shadows are pigmented and apply well. Occasionally there will be a slightly chalky or sheer color, but that isn't enough to deter me from recommending these. After all, for $1 what have you got to lose?

Best palette available!

I use this every single day! The colors are bright, pigmented, smooth, and apply very well. I have used every single color and not a single one was chalky or sheer! There is a great mix of satins, shimmers, and mattes as well as brights and neutrals to create just about any look you could possibly want. For even brighter colors that last all day, I use the e.l.f. eyelid primer then NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk as a base under the shadows. SHAZAAM! Intense colors that last all day (or several days, if you are lazy like me and don't wash it off every night).
