Wide range of colors, very good quality.

I've been using Ulta shadows for a couple of years now and can't belive that I haven't review them yet. I have several shades, with many favorites. Cafe Ole is a perfect everyday lid color for me. It has the slightest sheen and a strong warm undertone that works great with my complexion.

Most of my Ulta shadows and very highly pigmented (Sapphire and Rockstar come to mind from my collection) but you really do need to swatch them at the store as a few I've bought online do not have a very good color payoff. They do blend quite easily and last a very long time with a primer underneath.

For the most part however you are getting a very high quality product at crazy, low price. They are on sale literally every other week!!! The size is quite generous and depot with little effort if you want to create a palette with the colors.

Beautiful color with very intense pigmentation.

I got this in a few shades and have been very happy with the coverage and colors. The only gripe I have is with the packaging. It's only $2.50 but you end up wasting quite a bit of product pouring it out of the jar.

You don't need a lot of this to get a strong color payoff...I use a MAC 239 brush to apply both wet and dry....I just tap the brush before applying and I don't have problems with fallout.

There is a wide range of colors to choose from. It's fun to play with different looks.

Epic fail!

This mascara was a total fail for me. It was very dry, it clumped and just didn't cover my lashes evenly.

I had to apply 3-4 coats to see any product and had serious fallout on my lower lashes. The wand didn't do a good job separating my lashes and also didn't seem to hold the mascara very well.

I love my Maybelline Lash Stiletto and have no idea why I decided to try this one.....I'd pass on this.

This is a big mamma jamma!

I have used it for blush applications and it worked fine. I only use this brush for blush if I'm swiping on one quick color with no additional blending.

I find that this brush works great for applying powder to my T-Zone. I use a different powder on my T-Zone vs the rest of my face and the slightly tapered end works great for this area.

As with all of the R.T. brushes, you are getting a high quality brush with very soft bristles and a wide-bottomed handle. It takes up alot of space in the make-up counter, but is easy to keep on the counter while applying makeup.

I really like this brush.

My best blush brush!

I have not tried using this brush for foundation, I find that it works so brilliantly as a cream and powder blush applicator. The bristles are very soft and short. They pick up product very easily (I use La Femme blushes that are very pigmented so I only need a small amount) and it blends great.

I like how this brush feel in my hand, it's a perfect length for me and is comfortable for applying my products.

I have a love/hate opinion about the flat bottom.....I love that it can stand up on it's own, but I hate how much space it takes in my storage container!

Long lasting color.

I've got this in Absolut Red and Buttery Nude. It's such an unique texture. It's truly a great blend of opaque color with a gloss like application and shine. I hope NYX introduces some more colors to this line.

I do find that I need to make sure my lips are moisturized before applying this cream. I usually apply Nivea Sun Protect and let it absorb for a few minutes before applying the NYX.

Great product!

This is the real deal!

I finally broke down a bought this about a month ago. It does exactly what it says on the packaging. Smashbox and Maybelline are the only two companies selling B.B. Creams that offer options for people who are darker than just light and medium.

While I like Maybelline's version, Smashbox is wayyyyy better. I don't have to apply anything to my skin before this product. I literally wash my face, apply the b.b. cream and go. It smooths out my complexion with one light coat. I only apply a light dusting of transculent powder to my t-zone and I'm set for the day. It lasts me about 8 hours and has not irritated my skin. You can easily build this up for a full coverage look (you'll need to add a powder on top).

The price tag is my only complaint. It does not need to be as expensive, but you don't need alot to get good coverage.

I wear Revlon Colorstay in a Carmel/Cappuccino mix, Mac in NW45 and MUFE in 173/175. The color (dark) is spot on for my skintone. You can't tell that I am wearing anything when I have this on, it makes my skin look beautiful!

This is a definite win for me. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works when the weather gets cooler and drier.

***EDIT*** I'm still loving my Smashbox BB Cream, but now that my skin is in it's 'winter phase' the color is not as great of a match as last summer. If I wear it alone, it washes me out. I can correct this easily with my powder but shouldn't have to do this. It still has wonderful coverage and I have not had any breakouts with this product. I guess I'll just have to keep this one for the summer months. Thankfully Iman has finally come out with a BB Cream exclusively for women of color that I can't wait to try!

This one passed the "High Noon" sun test!!!!

Wow! I spent 1/2 the day outdoors last week and forgot to bring my pressed powder to blot. I stopped at a local beauty supply shop and decided to give this a try just for kicks. The price was right ($3.50) and it was so nice to see a display of colors that cater to women of color.

I bought RMP15-Cognac and this stuff disappeared into my skin. The color was a true match for my skintone and it totally eliminated the shine on my T-Zone. I was outdoors for the next 4 hours, cloudless sky and I could not tell that I had this stuff on my face! Cognac has a slight reddish undertone that suits my darker, summer complexion perfectly. I am definately going to try a lighter color once my summer glow starts to fade.

This comes in 8 shades. You get a very generous 10 grams of product. Mine did not come with a sponge (some do) but I picked one up at the counter for $.50 and it fit perfectly in the compact.

I first wore this powder over my liquid foundation and it provided a long-lasting, full-coverage look. I also wear it alone, over a spot concealer application and it looks even better on its own! It completely fades away any discolorations or marks and just seems to become like an extension of my natural skin. It does not look powdery, cakey or ashy. If I want a 'dewy' look, then I just mist some Fix+ over the top.

It lasts me about 8 hours, I only have to blot a couple of times. This powder is marketed for sensitive/acne-prone skin (it has .5% Salicylic Acid). I've had no breakouts using this powder. The compact is simple and sleek.

I highly recommend my darker complexion friends give this wonderful product a try before shelling out major money at a dept. store for something that is not formulated for your skintone. I've found some of Ruby Kisses products to be hit or miss, but the Mineral Powder is a definite Hit for me.

I can finally post a Bdellium review on this site!! Yea!!!

What a fantastic brand of makeup brushes! I stumbled upon these while searching for an Eco Tools brush a couple of years ago.

These brushes range from approx. $6 - $16 on Amazon and are worth 3 times the price. I am so glad that I didn't buy a MAC 187 brush first. The Bdellium 957 is the PERFECT stippling brush and blends out my liquid foundations flawlessly.

The 776 works brilliantly as blending brush similar to the MAC 224 and the 781 Crease brush is my eyeshadow workhorse.

All of the brushes are super dense and uber-soft. They pick up the various products beautifully. I find that I'm using less product with these brushes! The handles are comfortable to hold. They are damage, chip, and breakage resistant. The anti-bacterial coating protects against mold, fungus and bacteria that can gather on brushes. I have had very little shedding. Just a stray bristle when I first washed a couple of the eyeshading brushes and one of the blush brushes. I've had absolutely no shedding since and I've been using and washing these for 2 years. I have the full Studio Line set but have listed below my personal favorites:

Finishing and Blending Face Makeup Brush #955 Crease Eye Makeup Brush #781 Tapered Blending Eye Makeup Brush #785 Shading Blending Eye Makeup Brush #776 Large Shader Brush #774 Smudge Brush #755 Concealer #945 Bronzer #922U Precision Kabuki Airbrushed Effect Brush #957 Pencil Shaped Blending Applying Eye Makeup Brush #780

I'm so glad to finally have a chance to review this fabulous line on Beautylish. I've gotten a few questions about them. I've purchased these brushes as gifts for several of my family members and they also love the quality from Bdellium.

Does the job.

This primer is a very good value. I apply it with a foundation brush only on my T-Zone and apples of my cheeks. It really does make my foundation or powder applications look much smoother.

The packaging however is a major disappointment. I was only able to use the pump one time before I had to un-screw the lid and scoop out the product. Due to the opaque container, you can't tell how much product is in the bottle.

As much as I do like the primer, I will not re-purchase unless the packaging is changed.
