Who me, what zit? Why yes I slept ten hours last night!

After trying pretty much everything out there I still go back to Mac for my concealers. I always buy two- one for under my eyes and one for blemishes. Just remember- yellow cancels out blue, green cancels out red, and red.. well red is what you're probably tryng to get rid of anyways so who cares what red would do. Anyways, I have a more yellowish tint for under my eyes and the other I try to match to my skin as close as possible (more pink than my under eye selection).

I've found that if I use a very small, stiff brush I can cover blemishes super well with this product. Set with powder and viola, you can pretend you don't have a face full of acne!

Ehhh.

I'm super picky when it comes to my glosses, and while this line isn't bad, it's not knocking my socks off, either. It's a tad on the sticky side and tends to get a little gummy if you like to wear truckloads of it like I do. The glitter can also be a bit much if you're going for a more natural look.

You get what you pay for.

South Beach is a kind of dusty rose with gold. I mostly use it as a blush but when I'm having a monochromatic moment I'll go ahead and swipe it on my eyes and lips. It's a totally solid product that I doubt you'd be disappointed with if you're into makeup.

Miracle tool.

If you're going to do your own brows I seriously suggest you invest in a pair of these. They're super sharpened so they can snatch even the smallest hair.

I really only use these for brow tweezing purposes (mostly because they do such a good job I'd freak out if anyone tried to use them for anything else). I know they'll sharpen them for free, for life, but it's been almost ten years and I haven't had to do that yet. That's right, back away from my tweezermans.... Or better yet, get your own!

You need this.

A lot of girls don't think they need to do anything to their eyebrows when they apply full makeup. Well, you're wrong. The eyebrows frame the face and finish your look- don't forget them or your makeup just won't look right!

This set comes with a nice medium brown, the wax, the perfect applicator brush, and some pointless tweezers that I lost like the day after I bought it. Nice touch, though. Just make sure you're getting the right color or it'll throw your look off.

Suuuuper black!

I wanted to be able to have a line that was as dark as ink.. and I got it. The smashbox brush that you can purchase with this is absolutely necessary. I've tried other brushes and they just didn't measure up. This formula is awesome and easy to use. Totally the perfect liner if you're going for that sexy cat's eye, which I like to wear almost daily. Me-ow!

My current favorite.

So far I've tried most of the colors and I really like them all. They're super lightweight and not sticky at all. They smell good and the applicators are bomb. What more can you ask for?

Too many other good ones to spend $$ on this.

Really, Bare Escentuals... your bazillion dollar face makeup empire wasn't enough? You really had to branch out into mascara too? Well, fail. The wand is a funky shape that I can't seem to make good use of. I don't need a big bulbous tip for anything. In fact, it kind of gets in the way when I'm applying it the way I do. Maybe that's just me. The color is nice and black but it takes ten million strokes to get my lashes where I want them to be. Definitely doesn't compare to Benefits badGal.

This stuff kind of sucks.

A friend of mine gave it to me while we were on a mini vacay together and now I know why- it's pretty pointess. Not only does it leave my face feeling heavy and filmy after I used it but I also broke out pretty bad, even after washing it off completely after each use. And don't get it anywhere near your eyes- stings like a........... Yea, not worth it if you ask me.

Not a lot of coverage but at least it has sunscreen.

The Light is pretty pasty- even for my untanned skin. If I use this product alone I end up looking more washed out than evened out. The powder that I purchased with this (also Light/Neutral) is much darker and is fairly heavy coverage. So after my face has a chance to absorb the product I sweep the powder over it and then blend with my fingers until it looks natural and fluid. Kind of a process... I'd really rather just have a fuller coverage foundation that I don't need to tweak so much.
