It's never too early for prevention!
Vain as it is, I just don't want to look old if I don't have to. So one day while I was meandering around Target I saw this on sale and decided to go for it. I was actually surprised by the nice coverage, the good color match to my skin, and the longevity of the product.
When I apply before work I usually only need to touch up my oiler areas (forehead and nose) during lunchtime. It's great if you have a little more to hide, like I do. Hopefully those antioxidants are doing their work, too ; )
Love it in the summertime.
The sun is a magical thing. When I get a little bit- not too much though, it tends to clear up my skin. And when that amazing thing happens I actually get to go light on my makeup. One of my favorite light foundations is this one.
You have to be quite tan to pull off the Medium but my spray tan loving self has no problem with that. What's nice about this formula is that it happens to be a tad on the orangey side so if you're using faux tan it blends just perfectly.
It's never made me break out and I've mixed it with every other foundation under the sun. Great consistency and a steal for the drugstore price.
My bestie and I used to fight over this one.
So I know you're not supposed to share mascara but since me and the bff shared everything else we didn't think much of it. And besides, this mascara is so great we HAD to share it (mostly because we were too cheap to just buy two).
The black is a true black, just what I'm looking for on our ladies night's out. The trick to this one is to have a clean mascara wand on hand to brush through and remove any excess. I kept this until the bitter, dry, flakey end and even then it was hard for me to throw it away!
Can't beat it for the price.
And even though it's not "waterproof" unless you start crying or something I haven't had an issue with this formula running. It's a good black, not great, and does require a little bit of work to get the volume and legnth right, but overall a good deal for how much you're paying.
Poor girl's fantasy eyeliner.
For reals. Sometimes the cheap stuff is also the good stuff- and this would be one of those times. I love my Prestige liners. I think it's the brush that really makes the difference (it's short, in a point, and easy to maneuver). The formula is good too though because when it dries.. and it dries pretty quickly.. it doesn't flake or smear. Oh yes, it's a winner.
If you're gonna go Nars you might as well do a duo.
I got mine so long ago they don't even have the colors listed anymore! Heh... well mine is in Wicked, which is a duo of pretty pale greens.
They go on super sheer but can be applied wet, as liner, or built up for a bigger color payoff. They're super smooth and blendable too. It's just a good product.
I'm not thrilled.
When it comes to foundation I'm starting to believe that it's better to shell out the big bucks. I recently decided to try to go on the cheap and visited the drugstore for some new foundation. I chose Fit because it's new and I had high hopes.
So after actually getting it home and trying it on my hopes were a bit deflated. It's not terrible or anything but it's not wonderful either. I noticed that when I apply it more lightly (on low breakout days where I can afford to do that) it looks nicer, especially after my skin has a chance to warm it up a little. The 110 is a little light for me but that's nothing a little bronzer hasn't been able to fix.
Smells great, works OK.
I love the orange-y pink that this stain delivers... I just wish it would actually STAIN. I noticed that it tends to wear off realllly quickly. The gloss is a pretty pink, which I wear alone a lot of times, but it's a bit sticky. I don't get the plumping effect whatsoever, although I do feel a slight tingle when I apply the gloss. The smell is probably my favorite aspect of this one. Not sure that's worth another purchase of it though.
