NEW YORK FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
Grecian drapery inspired Samantha Pleet's magical mod designs for spring 2012. The ethereal collection featured feminine silhouettes with intricately manipulated fabric. The overall color palette was earthy and aquatic.
MAKEUP
Make Up For Ever Alliance artist James Vincent served as key makeup artist for the show and created a makeup look that focused on intensely blackened eyes. James first applied Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation, then gave the cheeks and lips a fresh splash of peachy pink with Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Blush in #4 and #6.
To create the sultry eyes, James began with Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in #35 as a base on the lid. He added a soft contour to the crease with Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in #165. Next he applied Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in #4 over the taupe for added dimension and depth. Finally, he deepened the crease with Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in #79. Make Up For Ever Cream Eye Shadow in Aqua Black and Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream Liner in #13 finished the look.
