NEW YORK FASHION WEEK S/S 2011
North African-inspired prints, cowboy hats, and exotic gold jewelry created the look of a desert warrior at Pamela Love's spring 2012 collection. Vibrant colors and fabrics transformed the minimalist studio space into an industrial bazaar. Models posed atop persion rugs in front of geometric tribal backdrops.
NAILS
"The nail look at Pamela Love was inspired by the bohemian Moroccan theme of the collection," said Essie manicurist, Elle Gerstein. "We drew inspiration for the reverse chevron French manicure from the tribal graphic elements of the clothing and geometric jewelry seen in the collection."
