PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S 2012
A clean, bare face is appearing to be the most favored look at Paris Fashion Week, with makeup artist Val Garland adopting it for Giambattista Valli. She described the look as, "no makeup perfection."
Makeup
To create the translucent, perfect skin seen at the show, Val began with Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation, blending it over skin to even and perfect skin tone. She then applied Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder through the center of the face for extra polish and blended Shell Cream Colour Base over eyelids and on the bridge of the nose for a subtle highlight. No blush or bronzer was applied, just a touch of MAC Pro Gloss Texture over cheekbones as the girls lined up to walk the runway.
Eyes were completely bare except a swipe of Black Fix Studio Fix Lash Mascara on the upper lashes, and lips were covered with Lip Conditioner SPF 15.
