001 Ivory

Revlon PhotoReady is a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation that blends effortlessly into the skin and provides hours of wear. I love the pump-style packaging and glass feel. It really provides a high-end feel (even the price tag is close at around $11).

There IS shimmer in this product, which is what creates the "photo ready" quality Revlon claims it provides. Light is supposed to reflect off the shimmer, though I didn't notice any change in my appearance in photographs.

Since that is the purpose of its being, it lowers its rating for me. Aside from that, it's a great quality foundation with a pretty good shade range. I suppose the nice packaging is what raised the price, as for only a few dollars more, you could have a MAC foundation.

Oh, by the way, this foundation has SPF and is oil and fragrance-free. Yay!

LOVE these!

I have Raspberry Truffle and Pebble and am in LOVE! Raspberry Truffle is my most favorite, simply because of its shade - it's a gorgeous burgundy/maroon/something quite spectacular I can't even describe it. Both shades are super pigmented, blend like a dream and wear for hours! I really can't rave about these enough - they are so great! Even the $3 price tag is fabulous! I plan to purchase many more shade and I hope E.L.F. plans to release new shades!

Brushes fell apart before use.

I purchased the glitter version of this kit when it was on sale. The first time I went to use the brushes, I noticed one of the brushes top part had come off of the handle. The ferrule completely fell off! I hadn't even used the brush yet! Another brush in the kit was loose, too. I normally love E.L.F. Studio Brushes, so I was very disappointed to see these so poorly crafted.

The other brushes are, so far, doing well. The overall concept of the kit is good and the quality of the brush-heads is great; soft, shed-free, bleed-free brushes in a kit that zips closed and has slots to keep the brushes in place. I just wish the craftsmanship of these particular brushes was better.

Get the job done.

E.L.F.'s Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths do a good job of removing makeup, but I feel as if I have to scrub to do so and that's not good. Especially around the eye area, as you want to be as gentle as possible. If it weren't for that very important fact, I would've given them a higher rating. If it were a tad bit wetter, I would've had an easier time navigating the wipe around my face and not feeling the need to scrub to remove makeup.

That aside, the wipe does remove product well and doesn't leave any residue afterwards. I wouldn't say my face felt clean after use, but it definitely removed my makeup.

Personally, I think the Neutrogena and Target (Up&Up brand) Makeup Removing Wipes are much better, and you'll only spend a few dollars more.

Perfect!

I was in need of blending brushes and figured I'd spend the dollar on these till I had the money to purchase higher-end ones.... well, I don't need to! The E.L.F. Blending Eye Brush is perfect! While it's only a tad scratchy at first, after a few washes it's soft as any other and blends shadows like a dream! Some of the ones I purchased had hairs longer than the others, but for $1, I don't expect them to be perfect. It doesn't affect the quality/performance of the brush and I haven't had any problems with shedding, bleeding or loose ferrules.

If you need/want a blending brush and don't wish to spend a lot of money, this is the brush for you!

Great blushes!

I have Pink Passion and Candid Coral. The exterior packaging is sleek and reminds me of NARS (with its black and white features). The packaging is actually the same as the Studio line eyeshadows; sturdy, chic and effective. There's a small mirror on the inside of the lid. The pan size is comparable to most drugstore blushes, but you're only paying $3, so the value is great! It actually is only marginally smaller than a MAC blush (0.17 oz. vs. 0.21 oz.)!

Aside from the packaging, the pigmentation of both shades is great, with Candid Coral applying slightly sheer than Pink Passion. I absolutely love Pink Passion! It's a blue-based matte hot pink - perfect for Spring and Summer! The texture is velvety and both apply true-to-pan.

The only thing that let me down was Candid Coral's longevity - it wasn't. Pink Passion held true all day, while Candid Coral disappeared as the day went on.

I still think E.L.F.'s Studio Blushes are worth a try! I absolutely love Pink Passion and it's enough to make me try other shades!

Could be better.

These lipsticks were the first product I tried from E.L.F.'s Mineral product line, and only because I heard rave reviews from xSparkage (a.k.a Leesha) on YouTube. If she liked it, I was sure I would! I purchased two shades; Runway Pink and Prime Plum. The exterior packaging varies in the sense that the two lipsticks I purchased at the same time looked different. One had white writing and the other did not. Aside from that, the product doesn't swivel entirely down, so the risk of nicks/breaks is high. While I wanted to love the product, they didn't really deliver for me. Both lipsticks accentuated the lines in my lips, Runway Pink applied streaky and Prime Plum dried my lips out horribly! For $5, I'd purchase a Maybelline lippie for sure!

Save the Dollar

I received Butternut as my free gift in one of my E.L.F. orders. I hadn't tried any of E.L.F.'s $1-line eyeshadows, so I decided to for the sake of review. I wasn't impressed. The color payoff was extremely sheer and did not build. Blending, of course, wasn't an issue, because the shades barely showed up on my lids. I've tried $1 products from other brands and had a much better experience.

If you want eyeshadow from E.L.F., definitely spend the extra two dollars and purchase from their Studio Line - HUGE improvement! Better yet, wait 'till E.L.F. is having one of their 50% off Studio sales and get them for $1.50!

Holy Grail!

This is my new Holy Grail skin care product for anytime my skin is dry! I picked up the travel size during a trip to Target for $0.99 and applied it to my dry, cracked areas twice daily (which I get every winter) and within two days, the areas were back to normal! I couldn't believe how quickly this product reversed the seasonal effects on my skin.

A little definitely does go a long way, so the 1.01 fl. oz. within my travel-size will last quite a long time. I can only imaging how long the 8.45 fl. oz. the full-size provides will last! There is a very pleasant baby powder scent that dissipates quickly on the skin. The product is thick like a cream, applies effortlessly, absorbs quickly, doesn't leave behind a residue and lasts for hours. I'm loving that it's paraben-free and cruelty-free as well!

I highly, highly recommend this product to anyone needing instant, long-lasting relief from dry skin!

Long-wearing and very creamy!

These eye liners offer great color, easy blending and are creamy for easy application. The last fairly well on the waterline as well. They are priced around $1.99 or less. They are offered in a good amount of shades. Definitely worth a try!!
