Beauty Product Reviews

I've been using this for years!!!

When I was younger and first started wearing eye makeup my grandma got me into using vaseline for taking off my mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow at night. It works wonderfully and costs a fraction of the amount it costs for makeup remover and it lasts FOREVER! Also I have yet to develop one fine line or wrinkle around my eyes. I also attribute that to vaseline for it's ability to retain moisture on my skin. I will be using this as makeup remover until the day I die. True Story :)

Not a bad product if done right

I heard a few people gripe about these not being worth the money and chipping quickly, but I tried them anyway. I used a really good Orly base before I put them on. The base pretty much acted like glue to the adhesive on the nail strips. Once I was done apply the nail strips and trimming them to fit I put a shine top coat on my nails. My manicure stayed perfect for over 2 weeks without chipping. They were kind of a pain to get off but if you have a special occasion and would like something kind of fun on your nails these are great.

AWESOME Base!!!

I actually own Painterly, Delft and Rubinesque. Painterly is a matte skintone color and is good underneath just about any eyeshadow. Rubenesque is a pearlescent goldish bronzy color and makes eyeshadows more silky looking. And Delft is a steel bluish color with some shimmer. It can be used under other blue or grey tones to bring out the color or to darken other colors. These paint pots go on really smoothly and keeps even my creme shadows from creasing. I find myself using these more than UD Primer Potion now. I highly recommend them.

Great for a blendable base

I didn't even know I could use these pencils as a base until I was looking at a makeup blog tutorial and saw how vibrant/deep it made the eyeshadow look. So I figured what the heck, it's worth a try. I went to my nearby Ulta and picked up Black Bean, Milk and Pots&Pans. For $4.99 a pencil it's definitely worth trying as many as you can too. Milk makes my colors more vibrant and is excellent for highlighting the brow bone and inner corners of the eye while Black Bean smokes my colors perfectly. I haven't had a chance to use Pots&Pans yet. And they blend remarkably well. Definitely try these if you can.

Makes eyeshadow stay put

This was the first eyeshadow primer I had ever tried. I got it as a sample and it was love at first use. My shadows came out more vibrant and didn't move or fade on me. Even my cream shadows stayed put and didn't crease! Now I am the proud owner of not only the original (which I will never part with) but I've also have adopted Sin and Eden as well. I've tried other brands but they just don't compare to this in my eyes.

LOVE THIS PALETTE!!!!

This is my go to palette! The shadows range from matte to shimmers and are highly pigmented. And not only can you get a ton and a half of looks from this palette alone but the eyeshadows also work great mixed with other shadows outside of the palette. It's a must have for any makeup locker!

Another Old Favorite!

This is another product I have been using since the beginning of time! lol. I fell in love with it's chocolatey smell first but soon discovered how incredibly soft it kept my skin. I've just recently stopped using it in the summer months because it tends to be a little too heavy on my skin when it's hot for some reason. But I'm eagerly awaiting the cooler weather so I can run back to it rich, creamy and oh so delicious smelling goodness :)

My #1 go to scrub

I've been using this scrub for years! I use it every day at least once a day and will never use any other scrub simply because they don't compare. This scrub makes my skin feel clean and refreshed. Not everyone can handle the rough texture (I really don't think it all THAT rough) but if you can it's definitely worth the try.
