Dissapointed

I bought this the other day since the ULTA i went to was out of matte, and i heard good things about that one so i decided to settle for the pearl. I'm so sad to discover it doesn't really work out for me. I used it under some pearly eyeshadows (MAC naked lunch, Coppering and Paradisco) and it does make the colors brighter and intensify the pearliness but it made the shadow look scaly and creased. I mean it looked like my eyelids had tiny wrinkles, which wasn't appreciated. Maybe it's due to the pearl effect that caused it to crease? I don't have oily lids either so i hardly get creasing with good quality eyeshadows. I plan on returning this some time this week, and exchange it for the matte white one. hopefully that will make up for this bases' lackluster.

Soo cute!

I love the packaging on this mascara! It reminds me of those ballerina music boxes I had when i was little. I love the baby pink and the bows<3. The mascara itself is really nice! It lengthens and volumizes and keeps the lashes soft not crusty or hard. I have to say this is one of the best mascaras to use if you're going for the natural look. It's not super dramatic, it's natural looking but you look like you're born with the perfect long, voluminous lashes (which is what we wish we were all blessed with). It's about i believe $18 (?) ish dollars which is on the lower end of Sephora's mascara price spectrum. I like keeping this in my purse for when i'm in a hurry to apply mascara last minute or need a touch up. It has nice build-able volume and length, and does it all in one or two light coats. I would definitely recommend and repurchase :)

It's okay.

I don't dislike this mascara but i don't love it. It has really nice packaging, the name is cute "lash Stilleto". I've bought the regular one before and i liked it but not enough to repurchase. I got this one because it's different and i wanted to try something new. It does make my lashes longer but i have to put at least 3 layers on to start noticing the length better, and for an every day routine, i dont have time in the morning to really layer my mascara on. I want something that's going to do the job easily with minimal effort. I do like using this mascara when i apply falsies, because it gives my lashes a naturally full effect. So if you're going for something that's lengthening but more natural looking or that "no make up" look this would be a good choice. I do feel that with the name "Ultimate Length" you expect something with more drama. All in all, would i repurchase? possibly. I do like using it to layer with my other mascara because it gives nice subtle volume.

My Fav<3

Mascara for the longest time had been my obsession. I would shop exclusively at Sephora etc for mascara and i would get the newest one that came out. I mean really did i need four different mascaras that did the same thing? nooo. Eventually i realized that buying 4 different $20+ mascaras wasn't the wisest way to spend my money. I decided to go drug store and this mascara had great reviews. and boy did it not disappoint! I really love the way it separates, and lengthens my lashes. It's on par with the higher end brands in the consistency and quality. My only gripe is that it makes my lashes so long that it hits my brow bone and makes little black dots :/ but that's an easy fix. If you want a more voluminous dramatic look, use a volumizing mascara as a base and just wiggle it near the root of your lashes and layer this on top of it for even more dramatic lashes :)

My HG brush

The MAC 219 is my most favorite brush out of my whole collection and out of MACs collection of brushes. I use it to smudge eyeliner and also for contouring the crease and for applying eyeshadow at the outer V. I know there's lots of dupes out there at Sephora and Sigma etc but i know for sure this one works and i know how good quality MAC brushes are so after much deliberation (by much i mean a couple years lol) and much attempts at using substitutes or getting by without it, i decided to repurchase this brush (b/c an old friend of mine stole the first one i got from me >:( ) and now i'm complete :)

One of my favs<3

This was my first MAC brush, that my friend wisely got me! this brush is so versatile, i mainly use it as a blending brush, it just works excellent, blends perfectly and is equally as good to use as a regular eyeshadow lid brush. The only downside i see is that it has white bristles, and me being a bit of a perfectionist find it irksome that i can never get it perfectly white :( but as another poster mentioned it's definitely good at indicating that it needs a cleaning. another downside to some, is possibly the price...i'm not sure how much it is but i'm betting it's >$20. Though i must say I've had this same brush for 6 years now! I can't believe it's lasted me this long and it's still full bodied, i have encountered hardly if not any shedding during cleaning. So it's for sure worth it's price tag.

I'm not an expert on tinted moisturizers, i haven't tried out many from other brands however so far i am liking the results from this. I have this in Light and it goes on very smooth and sheer. i layered it over concealer and it was sheer enough where my face looked natural and not over done, yet tinted enough to blend with the concealer. Only weird thing i find about it is the smell...it smells like sunscreen which is understandable since it contains it but idk...i feel like if i wanted my face to smell like sunscreen i would have bought sunscreen for the face. But all in all i am please with the results. I love the fact that my face looks fresh and dewy/glowy after application :)

little product goes a long way, excellent coverage!

I have been on the search for a good concealer that doesnt cost a million bucks. i don't really need concealer, per say. I dont have prominent dark cicles or bags or too much blotchiness, or blemishes. However, i noticed how much more awake and alert i look when i do wear concealer under my eyes. I heard about Glamoflauge on youtube, and i ran to my local walmart and picked one up in Light. I've used it only for a couple of days and i love the coverage. I only need a tiny amount to cover everything, so this tube is going to last me forever. BTW, even for people who do need heavier coverage, you wouldn't need as much as you normally would. It even comes with a concealer pencil! two for one deal...and it's only $6 on top of that...talk about a STEAL. Only con i would think is that it comes in only 3 colors, light, medium(?), and Tan and the tan is like...exactly how it sounds. So if your skin is more toffee-cocoa color, you'll be SOL :( Apart from that, i would definitely repurchase and recommend.

lovee this palette! i held off from buying it because i had recently bought coastal scents 88 warm palette around the time it came out but earlier this month i finally decided that i should snap up one cuz there's a reason this baby is sold out every where!! and i love it! love the way the shadows look on my eyes, love the way they blend and love love love the pigmentation. very happy with my purchase :)
