Beauty Product Reviews | Page 4

Both types of DUO used to be my HG lash glue. I think the white is much better than the black in all honesty. Now, everytime I use this glue I remember how much it sucks in comparison to the Revlon latex free clear glue.

Do I really need to even review this?

It's Nars. I can't recall a time I've been let down by their blushes. I first purchased Lovejoy and I didn't like it so it gathered dust in the back of my makeup drawer. I pulled it out from the depths and used it again and fell in love. I haven't neglected this little buddy again. I have: Angelika, Orgasm, Albatross and Laguna. I'm planning on getting their holiday blush palette too. So yes I think it's obvious that this product is nothing short of AMAZING.

I was totally sketch.

and I am about drugstore foundations. I purchased Photofinish in the wrong shade and I went back to the store to get a new foundation but Colorstay was cheaper and on sale. So i picked it up and unfortunately I forgot what shade it is...I believe I purchased it in Buff but I can't be sure. Anyway, it matched me perfectly! and It stayed on for a good 5 hours, so this is now my go to foundation for me to wear during my long days at school. Would definitely repurchase this baby hands down. :)

It's good but not great.

It makes your lashes dark and thicker and longer. but honestly? for $25 dollars it's not worth it. I achieve the same thing with Telescopic Carbon Black plus better lengthening for half the price. Oh and ps it flaked on me a lot too

I've heard people rave about this mascara on youtube and I had ZERO interest in it because it's marketed as a volumizing mascara and I prefer to focus on lengthening formulas. But I saw a picture of my friend with these lovely long eyelashes and asked her what mascara she was using and she said it was Maybelline One by One. Convinced, I went out to pick up a tube and I'm so glad I decided to give this mascara a try! It does a nice job of volumizing but also (and most importantly to me) Lengthening! It separates beautifully since it has one of those plastic spike type wand. I don't ever get spider lashes or clumpy lashes, they just look really nice and lush. The only gripe I have about this is that it MINORLY flakes towards the end of the day but very minimally.

Go 2 For Brows

I own smashbox, anastasia and this ELF brow product and out of all I prefer this one...for the gel at least. The powder is OK but to me it seems chalky. The gel is great though, it's very smooth and gives consistent color. I like using the gel to fill in the end part of my brows. I don't use the little applicator it comes with. The applicator is double ended- an angled and brush end, The angled end isn't bad and would be good for touch ups. The brush end though isn't that great but I wasn't expecting much out of the applicators anyway. All in all I would definitely recommend this to people because it's just such a good price and does the job well. I've already hit pan on mine so we'll see how long it'll last me since it's my daily brow product :) BTW I feel like a lot of people get confused with what color to get? So many people I know get the wrong color because the product looks darker in the packaging than it actually is. I'm an NC20 with dark brown hair and I use the DARK kit.

Saves my life!

I really need an eyeshadow base for my long days at school because after 4 hours my eyeshadow will fade... YES EVEN WITH UDPP! So my trick is to put on my usual eye primer *UDPP Eden or ELF* and then this baby with my fingers and then apply my eyeshadow and it lasts ALL DAY. One day I used this at around 8 AM spend all day at school and then went to the gym around 9 PM. At one point while I was working out I looked at myself in the mirror and my eye makeup was STILL there it was slightly faded you know...because I was sweating up a storm but for it to be there 12 hours later and looking pretty good after all that means something. and to me it means that this is worth the moolah.

I have this in sheer and recently in Golden? I think it's called. I really like this primer, it does a great job at keeping the shadows lasting long and heck it's a buck! I feel this is just as good as UDPP original and significantly cheaper which nobody can complain about!

PS does anybody know if this is different from the Mineral Eye Primer?

Love these, use 'em as bases!

I wanted to originally get a white base but I saw people talking about using these as bases and they're cheaper than the base pots so I decided I would give 'em a whirl and I love 'em! I own: Black Bean, Dark Brown, Milk and Cottage Cheese. I also have doubles that I use in my kit. The white is great for colorful eye looks, Black for smokey eyes with black/black based eyeshadows and brown for brown smokey eyes and Cottage cheese for shimmery shadows. I highly recommend swiping it on your lid and then blending out with your fingers. If you apply it with a brush it might be too thick and start to crease later. als as a previous poster mentioned still do apply a primer before adding this as the base. If you do all that you're good to go :)

AHH LOVE :)

The eye shadows really do live up to the hype :) I have Greed and Lust. The matte colors are buttery and smooth. The shimmer colors are a little less pigmented but lovely nonetheless. Highly recommend, i mean some of the colors are dare I say BETTER than MAC! and like 1/8 the price (you get 6 shades for $5 compared to $66 for 6 MAC shades at the cheapest).
