Beauty Product Reviews

not worth it!

I don't see why this palette originally costs $28... it's terrible! It creases terribly, but I can use a base, so that's besides the point. The payoff is poor, but I can see how this palette is foolproof, because you can't ever go too dark too fast. Personally, I don't really have that worry since I'm comfortable with makeup. The color choice is gorgeous, but the actual product is terrible; I'm almost sad that I spent $7 on this on clearance.

great look!

I love this powder for an all over glow, or even a quick eyeshadow. It's this amazing burnt brown with a dust of a red glow that gets better the more it's used! Great for an all over glow, a blusher, or even as a simple crease color when you're on the run. I don't think the image shown does it any justice, so ill try to post one later, but this a MUST try powder from benefit!

okay...

can't say I'm a huge fan of liquid eyeliner to begin with, so I'm a bit biased. I like the applicator, but the formula itself was not anything amazing to me. It seems a lot like the sonia kashuk liquid liner, which is a lot like the Sephora brand liquid liner. When it dries, it leaves a shine which I am not a fan of. In fact, I have yet to find a liner that does not leave a shine after it dries. Also, i found that it stains my eyelids (my eyelids are relatively dry) for two days, after using makeup removal wipes. This is an average product, but not worth any hype or the price.

good for dry sensitive skin!

this foundation gives light-medium coverage with a lightweight feeling. i don't even need concealer for my acne scars, i just let my first layer of foundation dry, then build a second layer just where i need it. this does not cake up and does not irritate my skin whatsoever. also, this does not cake around my nose or pimples, even when set with powder! i was slightly surprised at the low amount of SPF -- i thought there would be more, but i'm okay with using an moisturizer with SPF. all in all, amazing buy for an amazing foundation!

great selection of shimmer eyeshadows...

this palette is great selection of shimmer eyeshadows, but no matte ones! i like having one palette with all the eyeshadows i'll need for a look, and without a matte eyeshadow for a contour, a look can become too much. the color variation is great though. i love using last call all over as a bright eye. this palette has colors that can be dressed up or down, so i don't regret the purchase!

good color corrector, not so great price.

this product is really heavy on its own, but mixed with a bit of concealer (mac pro longwear concealer) this does wonders on my dark circles. i still feel that i should get a bit more product for $30, but i'd still repurchase for the peach tint it gives my concealer.

great elf product!

i was hesitant when i bought this product... but not anymore! the pink looks really great on my sister's pale tone, as well as my tan-dark skin tone. i find that the gold shimmer doesn't really transfer to my skin, which is a bittersweet feeling, but i'll live! & the bronzer is very buildable, so it can be used to give an all over glow or a slight contour

lengthens like a dream!

i have short asian lashes, so this mascara works wonders! but i have a feeling it's more the brush that i love, seeing as the formula itself isn't the best at holding a curl. i like using the waterproof version however as a thin base, using it to add length and keep my curl. i go over it with benefit bad gal lash for some volume. i'd buy this again, but not because of it's formula, more so for the brush!
