Makeup Palette Mini

So I had bought an Anna Sui blush without realizing it didn't come in it's own compact or case and when it arrived I was a bit miffed. I saw they had cases for sale online so I went ahead and picked one up. While the case is only $8 the blush is $22 so it ends up being $30 to have a blush and case like most other brands (so about the same as buying a NARS blush). I suppose it works out nicely if you actually use up the blush and buy a replacement you don't have to buy another case, but I find blushes take a long time to use up.

Anyway, the case seems a nice enough little compact. The design on the top is beautiful in person and the blush pan fits in pretty securely. So far I have no complaints about the quality.

Love the design and appears really beautiful online, but when I received this product my expectations did not match the reality. The design really caught my attention online and I was under the impression that it would be similar to Make Up Palette 1, which I also ordered, but it is not.

First of all, the print of the design did not meet my expecations because I thought the colours did not look very smooth and appeared kind of cheap looking. Secondly, I was under the impression that it would have a raised curvature plastic cover top design similar to Make Up Palette 1, but it didn't and it just had a flat cover top and was not easily observed through the pictures online.

Overall, it's functional, great design, but the quality of how the design is presented could have been better and didn't meet my expectation.
