Not for me...
I bought this powder because I read a lot of good reviews. Well I regret buying it. It just didn't work for me. I have combination skin. I get very oily on my nose and then on the outer parts of my face it gets really dry. Well this powder did not keep the oil at bay and it accentuated my dry spots. Even when I applied lightly to the outer parts of my face and increased the amount toward the center it did the same thing. I think it made me break out too. I had been using the same foundation and powder for years before i decided to try a new powder. My breakouts were under control until I switched my powder. So I think I'll go back to my old powder.
It's not for me
I decided to try this foundation because I'm very pale and it's difficult for me to find a good color match. I was so excited when I saw that the True match foundation line had 21 shades. I knew there had to be one for me in there. Well there was! I was extremely excited about that. Porcelain W1 is a perfect match for me skin tone. That I was very excited about. However, the coverage is terrible. I wear foundation to cover up acne scars and redness. It covered the redness a little bit but you could still see it. It did nothing for the dark acne scars that I have. I probably will not repurchase this because of the terrible coverage. If L'oreal came out with a more medium coverage version of it I would definitely try it again. So, to sum everything up this foundation had a great color selection but the coverage was terrible. If you have pretty good skin then this would be great for you. If you have any type of scarring or acne then this product will not help you at all.
I recently decided to give this another try. I put it on at around 10 in the morning. I used a powder on it because without one the skin looks quite shiny. Within an hour or two my face was shiny again. After a little bit longer my face felt like a total oil slick. I don't believe that I will reach for this foundation ever again.
The worst thing I have ever tried
I was really excited about trying this product. I have acne prone skin and I was told that this was a good foundation that wouldn't irritate or cause new blemishes. I didn't break out because of it which I liked. That was the only thing that I liked about it though. This foundation had the shortest wear time of any makeup that I have ever tried. I applied it at around 9 am while getting ready for class and by 10 am It was completely gone. It rubbed off on my clothes and stained them. It oxidized on my face and turned orange. The coverage was terrible. I had to use a ton just to get a sheer coverage. I also have some squint lines around my eyes and this product emphasized these. I will not ever purchase this product again.
They're ok
These are ok in my opinion. They're super pigmented which is great. They can be sheered out too if you apply to the center of your lips and then blend out. I don't like the taste at all. They taste a little like chemicals to me. They also smell very bad to me too. I'm very sensitive to scents when it comes to lip products so it may not be an issue for some people. The texture of these I'm not a huge fan of. They are very smooth if the color doesn't contain glitter but if they do they're a little gritty. After wearing these for a while they feel kind of greasy to me. I continue to use these because I love the colors of them.
It's just sitting in my makeup drawer
I bought this because I was a sucker for the texture and I love Emma stone... I shouldn't have wasted $13. It's soooo sparkly. I put it on in my room and it looked ok. It had ver light coverage and I could see a little shimmer in it. I took my mirror and went outside into the sunlight and I looked like a vampire from Twilight. It also made my pores stand out on my nose and cheeks. And if you have any type of dry patches on your skin do NOT even think about this foundation. This showed me patches on my face that I thought were perfectly moisturized before I applied it... I wanted to like this soo bad. But it's just not very good in my opinion.
Doesn't deserve one star in my opinion
I bought this for those days when I go to the pool and want to look presentable with the minimal makeup I have on. I tried it once and then I decided that I'm just not going to wear any mascara to the pool. It's thick and clumpy and it stains everywhere. If you get this on your lid it's staying there for several days. I also had an allergic reaction to it. I put it on one day and then my eyes started to itch and they turned red and they were watering and it lasted until this wore off. I definitely do NOT recommend this product.
one of my favorite eyeshadows
I bought champagne toast because I thought it would be a very natural looking color for when I wanted to do a natural look. It isn't. It's a more pink color than the name would lead you to believe. I still love it though. It wears for forever. I wore this to school several times and I would put it on around 6:30 and it would still be perfect at 3:12(when our school lets out). I also fell asleep with this on once so I wore it from 6:30 am to 9 am the next day and when i woke up it was still perfect. I had no creasing. I love it. The only thing that stinks is that the cap fell off of mine in my makeup bag and it has dried out. So make sure you get the cap secure!! So I'm going to have to repurchase it soon.
Wouldn't even give it one star
I was so excited about this when I first heard about it. I have combination skin and my dry areas are the outer parts of my face and on my upper lip strangely. I heard from a few friends with the same issue and even looked at some reviews from youtube that said that they really loved it. So I decided to give it a try. It's not worth it at all. First of all I'm very pale so i grabbed the lightest shade because I'm always the lightest shade and it's at least three shades too dark and orange. The second thing is it accentuated my dry patches. It's supposed to be the version for people with combination to dry skin but it makes dry patches worse. I have acne prone skin as well because I have rosacea on my cheeks and this did not cover the problem areas even when I was experimenting with the coverage. It also did not cover any of my redness at all. It's also very hard to get an even coverage. I tried so many different ways of applying this. I used three different brushes of mine, a dry sponge, a wet sponge, my fingers and none of them worked. Every single time i applied it my face looked splotchy. It also did not set. I decided to wear this out anyway and give it a real chance outside my bedroom... I shouldn't have. i applied it with a wet sponge and then set it with a powder. I went to put on my uniform for work and looked down to fix the collar and there was makeup all over it so I had to change shirts. I wore this to work and it wore off in 2 hours. It did not wear off pretty either. I had parts of my face that were covered and orange-ish and then there was my actual skin. It just did not work for me at all. I'm really dissappointed too. I really wanted to like it.
One of my favorites
Whenever I saw the ads for this I was very skeptical. I saw how gigantic the brush was and was sure that it wouldn't be able to reach my inner lashes very well because of the thick brush. But I watched a review made by Misschevious on YouTube and she said she really liked it. I decided that I would try it because she's never steered me wrong before. I'm glad I did. It has a very nice color and i found that if you apply it lightly you can still get very thick natural looking lashes on the days when you want a natural look. If you apply liberally you can get a very pretty dramatic look. My lashes were thicker and and longer. It does smudge under my eyes after about 8 hours of wear. If I curled my lashes before the extra curl would last about 2 or 3 hours and then it would fall to my natural curl. That, I could easily fix with a quick curl from my cheap eyelash curler and I noticed it lasted a while. I love this mascara.
I used to love it
This was my favorite mascara when I first started wearing makeup. It disn't really clump my lashes together and I did not apply very well when i started either. It was waterproof. I even had to buy a makeup remover in order to get it off because water and soap did not cut it. It did make my lashes look thicker but I don't really remember if they looked longer.
