My go to lip product

I use this almost every single day and most of the time I cannot stand to use any type of lip products unless it’s a lip balm. When I put this on, I forget it’s there until I look in the mirror. Even then, I only notice that my lips are a little brighter than normal. I have very pigmented lips so this makes them look like they’re a brighter berry color. I believe it is obvious that I love the color. It’s just enough to brighten myself up without wearing a lot of makeup. This product is very low maintenance as well. I will put it on before I have class in the morning and I won’t have to reapply until after I have time to eat for lunch, which is usually around 1. However, if you are eating or drinking a lot throughout the day you will definitely need to reapply more than I do.

These lipsticks are quite opaque, but they are easily sheered down for a daily wear color.

This lipstick is also quite moisturizing. I forego a lip balm underneath it because I simply don’t need it. This provides the only moisture that I need for the day.

I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a lipstick that they could wear daily.

Not for me

I have bought this foundation twice. The first time I bought it and used it, I loved it. It was during the summer when I was a little tan so the lightest shade worked perfect for me. It was lightweight which I loved. What I didn’t love was that it made my skin look extremely oily. After being outside for a couple of hours, I looked like I just rubbed baby oil all over my face. It was not a pretty look. So, I only wore it when I was only going to be out for a little bit. Because I liked it pretty well the first time, I tried it I decided to try it again. This time I could not stand it. I repurchased this foundation in the middle of the winter. I was back to being really pale and the lightest shade was way too dark for me. I also had the same problem with the foundation making my skin very oily. Overall, I’m not a big fan of this foundation. The coverage is very light as well. I wear foundation to cover up the redness in my skin and my blemishes. The foundation covered my redness for a little bit but did nothing for the blemishes. I would recommend it to someone that is tan, has dry skin, and has extremely clear skin.

I was very disappointed.

I was very excited about this foundation when I saw it in stores. I saw that it had a pump and the color selection looked amazing. I had also watched some videos about it on YouTube and it was called “the perfect foundation for a pale girl.” I guess I’m too pale… For me the lightest color was alright but I needed it to be a little lighter. The coverage was not very good either. I have old acne scars that are pretty dark and it did not come close to covering it. The foundation could not even really cover all of the redness in my skin either. Because I’m so pale any redness in my skin is really apparent and this foundation only covered it a little bit. It could not cover the redness of new blemishes either. The texture of the foundation put me off a lot too. Whenever I buy liquid foundations, I expect them to feel like liquids. This foundation was very powdery whenever I went to apply it to my face. When it comes to staying power, this foundation comes up short yet again. I noticed that this foundation disappeared in patches throughout a couple of hours. It also rubbed off on EVERYTHING. I hugged a friend of mine and there was a smudge on his shirt from where my chin hit his shoulder. It was extremely embarrassing. This foundation caused a major breakout for me too. I recently found a new face wash that helped almost clear my face completely. Then I used this foundation and I had a monstrous breakout all over my face. It was heart breaking. Overall, I can’t say that I would recommend this foundation to anyone. It just did not work for me at all. It could work for someone else though. The only pro that I found was the pump. I love foundations that have pumps because they’re a lot more sanitary and less messy.

Favorite nail polishes

I love this nail polishes. The formulation is amazing! Any other nail polish that I use easily chips off where I work. Essie nail polishes stay on all week with minimal chipping and a little tip wear. I will purchase many many more of these.

Terrible

This is basically a bar of soap. It does absolutely nothing for your skin. It dries it out though. I bought this because I had a bad reaction to a foundation and I needed something that would take care of my major breakout and this just made it worse.

I love this scrub

This is my favorite scrub of all time. I have a lot of dry patches and this scrub and the scrublet it comes with takes care of them. I used to have to use a scrub once a day because of how dry my skin was but with this I only have to use it 2 times a week.

I have noticed that my pores look smaller and I don't have blackheads around my nose and cheeks anymore. My face also hasn't broken out very much lately since I have been using this. This is definitely my favorite scrub of all time.

Did not work for me

I bought this because I bought a waterproof mascara by accident. Well this was the only makeup remover that my Dollar General had in stock and it was the only place that I could get to in a hurry. I bought this and I'm sad I did. It did not even touch the mascara. I tried it on my other makeup and it didn't really work for that either. Needless to say I will not try this again.

It's one of my favorite powders

I really liked this product. I bought it with the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation and it was a great combination. It made the foundation stay matte all day even in my oily T-zone. It didn't show my dry patches a lot either which makes me super happy. I always use the applicators that come with the powders because I feel like a brush applies too much. A brush also cause micro-exfoliating and makes dry skin peel up and flake. Using the applicator that comes with it eliminates that issue. The color selection is very good. I'm usually very disappointed when it comes to powders because the powder makes the foundation a color darker. Well I can't let that happen because I'm sooo pale. This powder was great because it kept the foundation the color that I needed.

I really like this mascara

This was the first mascara that I ever used so I have a soft spot for it. This mascara makes it look like there's nothing on my lashes at all. This is why I use it when I don't want to wear any eye shadow. It makes my eyelashes look great, but it doesn't look weird because I'm not wearing any other eye makeup. I do have to be careful because it's very easy to apply too much and get clumpy lashes. This mascara does last all day. It does smudge a little towards the end but most mascaras do. Overall it's a pretty good mascara.

I would definitely recommend this to other people. Especially if they wear contacts or have sensitive eyes like I do. This mascara did not irritate my eyes at all.

My favorite foundation

This is my absolute favorite foundation ever. It has a great consistency that feels great when it's applied. It covers up all of my redness, blemishes, and acne scars. It's my go to foundation for everything. If I want to dress up and look really pretty this is the foundation I use. If there's a special occasion this is what I use.

It also seems to look prettier if you put it on and let it settle before you powder it. It's like it melts into everything and makes the skin look perfect.

The coverage is medium to full which is great. I'm sure that you could get a lighter coverage if you wanted. For me the medium to full coverage is great.

I apply this with my fingers. I did not like how it looked when I applied it with a brush. It did not work well with a sponge either. It seems like using my fingers is the only thing that makes this foundation look fantastic. I just have to make sure that I blend around my neckline because I'm so used to having a brush do it for me.

The wear on this is great. I have to get up really early so this stays on from about 6 am to about 10 pm. It still looks pretty good when I'm about to take it off. I do notice that my skin is showing through the foundation on my cheeks around 9 o'clock. But other than that it looks great the rest of the time.

It looks like there isn't very much in the container and there isn't but it goes a long way. I have had mine for about 3 months and I still have quite a bit. This being said I do mix in other foundations a couple times a week. Only when I'm having really good skin days and I don't need a full coverage foundation. If I used this every single day then I think I would have ran out within a month or a month and a half.
