Beauty Product Reviews

Decent

I'm meticulous about my skincare, so over the years I've used a lot of products. I found my eos lotion in a dollar store so it was an easy and inexpensive purchase. I could really take or leave eos' lotion or shaving lotion. It works, it's worth the price, but I have used superior products that I prefer.

Essential Lip Balm

Of my solid balms, my eos collection is my favourite, with Sweet Peppermint being my favourite flavour. The packaging is cute (and reusable!), portable and the actual product lives up to its name. There isn't a flavour yet I don't like.

Best Brushes

I've used more expensive brushes, brand brushes and special ordered ones. Ecotools are hands down the best of them, and you can't beat the price. The hairs are gentle, but they're not sparse either. They pick up and distribute product extremely well- a little goes a long way. They come in varying sizes and are easy to find. Best brushes I've ever used.

No Budge Makeup on a Budget

I've never tried setting spray before (except Evian) but this works perfectly. In some regards I wish the bottle misted the way an aerosol does but I feel like you get more product for your money this way. This little bottle is always with me when I travel and on my makeup table at home.

Great Value!

When I'm looking for a great product vs price, I turn to elf every time. I get so excited when I see their products pop up in new places. Elf products are always worth the money and hold their own against their more expensive counterparts.

Staple Cleanser

I bought this on a beauty recommendation from Cosmo and were they ever right. I use this as part of my regular skincare routine and it's perfect on my combination skin.

Great Scent, Cute Packaging

I've been in love with this perfume since it first came out. I was elated when I discovered it's re-release in this limited edition tote tin. It's a great bright smell with heavy citrus notes, very fun and flirty.

Great Go-To

Best high-end eye primer I've tried to date. The light color allows both darks and brights to pop on your eyelids. Creasing is minimal with great coverage and staying power. Definitely prefer over creamier primers like Urban Decay primer potion.

Decent

The greatest selling feature was the smell. Unfortunately I found that it shattered easily- my travel size bronzer was destroyed very easily. It was great for intense contouring and had buildable color. Ultimately I would opt for a bronze/blush/highlight trio were I to look for another TooFaced product.
