Truly saved my skin!
About a month ago my already acne prone skin had become increasingly dry which I found absolutely peculiar being that I normally have oily skin. In efforts to lock in moisture I ventured out into new face products which did help me for a little while but evidently didn't work out. I noticed about a week and a half ago that the corners of my mouth had been dried out overnight causing cracks in my skin! The dry cracked skin epidemic took over my skin effecting me around the corners of my mouth, eyelids, and cheeks. The dryness soon began to flake and looked even worse when I applied my makeup. My self esteem was at its worst and I extremely self conscious. I finally told my mom about my skin and we visited the department store where I picked up a whole new skin regime. Luckily for me the clerk was also an esthetician who advised me to see a dermatologist because she figured I may a case of eczema. Instead of going to a doctor my mom and I saw this product at Target, picked it up, and it only took four days until all the dryness, flakes, and cracks disappeared completely! I owe this product all the gratitude in the world! It truly saved my skin!
Surprisingly pigmented so apply cautiously
I was in need of a new blush and saw the Wet N Wild blush for only $2.99 and figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. I bought this blush in the shade, Pearlescent Pink and when first applying it my cheeks looked outrageously PINK! The pigmentation is incredibly strong so definitely apply cautiously. Overall, I do really like this blush because I am very brown and can't always find a good blush that will actually show up on my skin so this is definitely a good product.
This product is most certainly "celestial"! ;)
In the past weeks I've been having the most difficult time with my skin. It's been irritable, dry, flaky, and above all covered in spots! I went on a hunt for a moisturizer that would be able to calm my skin and not make it sting like the other drugstore moisturizers I've been using and this "celestial" of a product did everything that I had hoped for! It has just the right consistency of being thick and breathable at the same time. It most certainly doesn't hurt that it smells divine!
Wonders in a bottle!
I didn't think it was possible for a foundation of this nature could actually exists but, it does! It lasts all day (as promised) and provided great coverage. The only thing to be wary of is that you must work quickly with it because it does dry within a few seconds so it's best to work in sections with this foundation.
Balanced out my redness.
A few months ago I broke out terribly and redness took over my cheeks and forehead! I was at the moment using MAC's Prolong Wear Foundation (which I LOVE!) but it didn't work well with my redness so I returned to the MAC counter and they led me in the direction of the redness zapper! My reasons for loving this foundation: light weight, long wear, easy to work with, and goes on smoothly. All in all, a great foundation in my eyes.
Sheen no more!
Throughout high school and my first years in college my skin has for the most part always been oily. Not until recently has that changed to combination but, nonetheless I still have an annoyingly oily T-zone. I actually never heard of oil absorbing sheets until the beginning of last year and hadn't tried the ones by Clean & Clear until about seven or eight months and now my wallet or purse never fail to contain these sheets of amazing absorbency! They work wonders on my face through out the day and pick up oil so well!
I actually saw a difference!
So, this past summer I have been stressed and it most certainly took a toll on my skin! I'm talking severely took a toll on my skin! Now, I've always known about LUSH and loved their products but never thought to use their skin care items until a friend assured me that her skin cleared up using them so I decided to stop by and try them out. I went into my local LUSH store, asked questions, and they provided me with this heaven of a gem! Being the cautionary gal that I am I asked for samples before actually purchasing anything (If you ask they WILL allow you samples of their products!). After about 3 days I actually noticed my problem areas diminishing! I love this product and the best part, you actually know what is in the soap! Nothing but the purest of ingredients! Fresh Farmacy: forever a holy grail product!
Smoothness in a tube!
Covergirl have truly out done themselves with their Lip Perfection Color Lipsticks! There is absolutely nothing wrong with this product in my opinion. From the packaging to its creamy formulation, it's great! One of my most favored features of this lipstick is that I found it does not settle into the lines on my lips. Of course given a proper exfoliating to the lips, any lipstick would work that kind of magic but this lipstick needs no preparation in order to provide this outstanding performance. All in all, I love these lipsticks!
Oh, and they are extremely true to color! What you see on the packaging is what you will be guaranteed to see in the tube!
Overall, great product!
Revlon Colorburst lip glosses are absolutely amazing! They have a smooth and highly pigmented formula. In all fairness I've only purchased the shade in "Peony" but I'm in the process of collecting them all!
Surprisingly long lasting and simple to apply.
I've tried this product twice already and enjoyed wearing funky nails both times. The application process was fairly simple and leave your hands looking, peculiarly fabulous! The wear lasted me about a week and a half, borderline two weeks. Being that this is a drugstore product, I was very much impressed with the long lasting wear it provided. My absolute favorite design is "Cut it Out".
