Really nice before I straighten my hair

I really do like this product, it's lightweight on my hair, smells nice, and does a little protecting from heat. It doesn't really give me any shine though. I tend to use this when I'm about to touch up any parts of my hair that need a bit of extra flat ironing. I'll spray a bit in, comb or brush it through, put on a lighter heat protectant, then straighten my hair. The price is a little scary at times, so I'm still on the search for a cheaper HG product or something that completely blows my socks off.

I actually do love this product a lot. I put a bit in my hair before I blow dry it and it stays protected from a lot of the styling tools I use. It gives great shine and keeps my hair super soft and smooth. The only reason I gave it so many stars off is because it's a bit on the pricey side for what it provides. I've found way cheaper alternatives at Sally's that do the same exact thing. It does have a really nice scent though, so if you find it for a discount, give it a shot. In the mean time there are a few other products that I like just as much or better.

This brush is my BABY

My 217 was probably one of the first MAC brushes I ever bought and ever since I've been in love with it. I love it for blending out cream shadows, concealer, stubborn powder shadows, and sometimes contouring. This is brush is so multi-functional it's definitely one of my top 3 brushes of all time.

I find myself reaching for this powder more and more often. It's super soft and gives a really pretty, healthy glow. The only minor issue I have with it is that it doesn't really help control oil at all. I generally don't have oily skin, but sometimes when the weather gets a bit warm my skin feels like it starts to melt, but now that fall is here and winter is coming, this does everything I need it to.

Constantly have to fight this away from my boyfriend

This lip balm is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Most lip balms are too slippery and too shiny to put on before lipstick or lip liner, but this is PERFECT! It hydrates just enough to make anything go on smooth, but not so much that it will slide off.

Varies by finish

Overall I really like OPI. I LOVE the brush to the point that I almost exclusively use these polishes. It's so nice and wide that you don't end up with a ton of streaks and that I can get my whole thumb in 2 strokes.

The only (minor) issue I have is that not all finishes wear the same. I tried out the Suede collection and Matte collection and HATED the way they stayed. You can't use a base coat or top coat with these or else you'll lose the matte effect, but without either, they chipped within MINUTES. My little loophole was to use OPI's Matte Finish Base Coat and China Glaze's Matte Magic to maintain it, but I generally don't use the mattes anyway because they are BRUTAL when it comes to showing ridges and imperfections on your nail plates.

Overall, I actually really like OPI polishes (aside from a few bad eggs). Staying power is awesome, color range is incomparable, and the brush is to die for.

if only you weren't so damn expensive...

I absolutely LOVE this foundation. The consistency is sort of thin, but every little drop packs such a punch. I can do my whole face with a pump or two (depending on what kind of brush I'm using) and it looks so unbelieveably natural. I've worn this and talked to someone 2ft away from me and they've complimented my "gorgeous skin." On top of looking so natural, it doesn't transfer when you touch it, it lasts all day, and I had my bottle for about a year and a half and it never went bad. Definitely going back to this.

I...LOVE...THIS...CONDITIONER

This is one of my absolute FAVORITE conditioners on the PLANET. I have super thick, coarse, dry hair that soaks up every other conditioner there is. I've pretty much given up on any daily conditioner because I don't wash my hair everyday and I'd generally go through a whole bottle in about 2-3 uses. This lasts me for weeks and weeks and you really see a change over time. Definitely not for people with fine or normal hair because it has a huge chance of weighing down your hair, but if you could use some taming, you'll LOVE this too.

On my hair, it personally made it REALLY dry, but it was just because of all the protein in it. I actually love this for my clients who either use lots of chemicals, lots of heat, and people with grey/white hair. It really strengthens it, gives volume, and just over all makes their hair SO much nicer. Just not for me :(

Good, but not all that

After reading the description, I had to knock off a couple stars. I'd NEVER put this on my eyes or lips. It's creamy enough to crease on your eyes and make a huge mess, but dry enough to chap your lips. The only thing I use mine for is to highlight my cheekbones, but it's pretty dry so I normally have to warm it up on the back of my hand then apply it with my fingers. I've tried to apply it straight to my face from the tube and it wiped away all of my foundation and concealer. I can't say it really hurt me to buy it (it was only $1) but I'd definitely want to reach for something else when I'm highlighting.
