I am having a lot if issues with my hair getting really knotty and it takes me forever to brush my hair and it hurts so please any tips on keeping hair tangle free? Any thing helps also I'm not sure if it's because my hair is dry or what but I've been using deep conditioners and hydrating hair masks and hydrating shampoo and conditioner and all that but it still feels so dry.

I use a kids' detangler spray. That's the only thing that keeps it from knotting up.

^^ I fully agree with Jacqlyn's advice. My hair is down to my hips and I use a leave in conditioner or argan oil and it makes it much more managable. I also bought one of the brushes called the tangle tamer and it makes brushing/detangling my hair super quick and easy.

Brianna, I highly recommend purchasing "The Wet Brush". It is $7-9 at Walmart, Sally or Target. No tugging, snapping or snagging and was designed to detangle without breakage. It's a dream for blowouts and even dry hair. I'd spray my hair with " It's a 10" leave-in conditioner after towel drying gently. You may want to try sleeping with dry hair up in a very loose bun with a non-binding silky hair tie or a loose braid. :)

I have a tangle tamer Max and it does nothing but make my knots worse and I bought it at Sally's for $9 I will definitely look into it's a 10 I know they sell it at ulta I will have to get up there lol and I will look into a coconut mask ASAP and I will start using my argan oil thanks everyone

When I was little, I had really knotty and tangly hair, so when I next went to the hairdressers my mum asked the lady if there was any haircut that could make hair less knotty and since I had layers, the lady suggested to get rid of the layers! It helped me a little bit but it still ain't no cure for knotty hair!

Thank you everyone I will definitely look into the wet brush and my hair is currently grown out from most of the layers it had except for a few also I usually leave my conditioner on for min 5 mins but maybe my hair needs longer I don't know l.

Ugh that tangle tamer is the worst. My friend/stylist forbid me from buying it and sent me for a Wet Brush. Good luck, hun!
