Okay, so I have really pale skin and dark hair. When I shave, you know... In areas it still looks like there's hair there because there's little black dots. I have tried every razor, expensive ones and expensive creams and everything. For three years In the summer I am never able to enjoy myself because of this problem, I can't even wear a swimsuit when I really want to 😔 does ANYONE know anyway to stop this? I really do not want to wax and lazer hair removal is not an option because I'm only 17. Haha. Do those bikini trimmers or whatever work? Or any hair removing creams? I've tried a hair cream which didn't work at all. Please help!

I like to exfoliate, shave everything going in the direction of the hair, exfoliate again and then shave in the opposite direction to the hairs and it usually works great :) take your time with it :D

I have thick Italian hair, legs arms everywhere. I make sure to exfoliate any area I plan on shaving. When I shave "there" I go in the direction of the hair and move the razor up and down in the same spot. I'm incredibly pale and have extremely dark hair as well, so I feel you.

What should I use to exfoliate? What do you reccomend?

I hope this makes sense but when the summer comes around, I like to sit on the edge of the tub and shave. It's a more precise and accurate shave then bending all weird ways in the shower lol. I'm Italian so my hair is dark dark brown and my best advice is to trim any hair first with a scissor put aside for this only and then go in with a razor.

I usually just exfoliate with a loofah, gets the job done. If your hair is super thick I would try an exfoliating scrub, but loofahs do fine for me. The most important thing is that the hair is soft, so maybe use conditioner or shaving cream (sounds weird I know!)

Shaving in general just sucks. Make sure to take your time though, if you rush you'll just end up with cuts and that's not fun at all.

Make sure you have a sharp razor n exfoliate before you shave will give you a closer shave - there are bikini line creams by nair that do work ok but the results don't last much more than shaving and it will sting if you don't use it properly - honestly the only way to get rid of the black stubs is to wax them out to get the roots out if it really bothers you - shaving is only removing hair past your skin surface n same goes with creams :T.

Oh and I use a sugar scrub - just don't put it inside yourself or you might get a yeast infection... Just saying :P.

Intuitions shaver with the conditioner bar around the blades works well for shaving too!

It could be that because shaving cuts the hair and leaves the root, you still see the darkness just under the skin. Unfortunately, it won't go away without waxing or a cream (though I wouldn't use any of those creams on such a sensitive area). You can get waxing kits at the drugstore and do it at home. Just take a pain killer 30 minutes before.

If you can stand a bit of pain, you should get an epilator. It will pull the follicle out from the root so you definitely won't be able to see it.

Bikini and Brazilian Waxing is quick and the sting lasts but a moment if you have a trained, tender-touched Esty at the helm. The maintenance is easy breezy once you get in the flow. For some, it may be exaggerated when premenstrual or perhaps due to abject fear. The mind is powerful and it's a delicate, most private part of the body. I think you'd achieve the desired results if you went that route.

You should really consider waxing I had the exact some problem am natural black hair and pale skin but once I started waxing I never shaved again!! It isn't even that sore I think it the fear that gets you more than anything and once you start waxing your hair growth takes longer to grow back which is brilliant hahah! I hope you find the answer your looking for❤️

Men's razors are much better for that area, as they are generally better for very coarse hairs.

I know you don't want to wax... But in my opinion the pros completely outweigh the cons. I found waxing there hurt less than my underarms, which surprisingly didn't hurt all that much either... It tickled more than anything. Anyway, I haven't gotten a full Brazilian, but I've gotten pretty much it all removed. It, takes about a 2-3 weeks before any new growth and when it does grow back it's thinner and softer.
Have you tried self tanner? I have like Sasquatch body, and when I use an aerosol self tanner I get naked and stand in my tub and spray myself down. Temporarily tanning my skin helps disguise the little black specks...

I'm the same way, pale skin and dark hair. It's like that because when you shave you can still see the dark root of the hair under the skin. I highly don't recommend any creams for down there, it would burn and you can so easily get an infection if the cream is not specifically for that area of the body. Personally I prefer to use a men's razor (Gillette Fusion) and remember to exfoliate before shaving. Also you should take a bath and soak the area before shaving. This will loosen the hairs and make it easier for you to remove them. Also don't shave every time you're in the shower. I find if I avoid shaving for a while and then shave, I end up getting a cleaner shave. However shaving won't really solve your problem, I highly suggest getting a bikini wax it will last longer and you won't have to feel self conscious (:

Agree^^ A Brazillian does not hurt too bad if you get it done from a trained practitioner at the salon, I have dark hair too and never shaved there, only gotten regular Brazilliabs and I never saw any specks of hair cuz wax pulls tge hair from its root. And once you get your regular wax sessions the hair thins and you eventually have to get it done in less regular durations (I started off with once a month, and 1.5 years of getting waxed I only need it one every 2.5 or 3 months, I was never hairy though, so it might differ).

Sorry I'm so late, I use a loofah and Soap and Glorys Scrub of your life to exfoliate and conditioner instead of shaving cream.
